Lake Luzerne -- William H. Davis, age 56, of Pinewoods Road, died Tuesday morning, May 10, 2005, at Glens Falls Hospital. Born on Feb. 16, 1949, in New York City, he was the son of Mary (Kelly) Davis and the late Harold Davis. He was a graduate of Farmingdale High School. Bill served in the United States Navy during the Vietnam War and was awarded the National Defense Service Medal. He moved to Lake Luzerne in June of 1973. Bill was employed at International Paper Company in Corinth in the security department. He enjoyed motorcycles, fishing and hunting. He is survived by his mother, Mary Davis of Lake Luzerne; two sons, Michael Davis and David Davis both of Norlina, N.C.; his former wife, Lynn Conlee of Norlina, N.C.; his aunt and uncle, James and Dorothy Caruso of Centereach, Long Island; his cousins, Helen Caruso, Susan Galasso and her husband Clete, Janet Martines; a special cousin, James Caruso as well as many other cousins. Funeral services will be conducted 10 a.m. Friday at Brewer Funeral Home, Inc., 24 Church St., Lake Luzerne, with the Rev. Charles Gaffigan, pastor of the Church of the Holy Infancy, officiating. Burial will be in Luzerne Cemetery, Lake Luzerne. Friends may call Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home. Haedrich, Warren BASKING RIDGE, N.J. -- Warren Haedrich of Basking Ridge, N.J., died Monday, May 9, 2005, at Morristown Memorial Hospital. He was 85. Born in Brooklyn, he lived in Basking Ridge for four years coming from Chestertown for 10 years and Plainfield, N.J. for 28 years. In 1985, he retired from his printing company American Impressions in Plainfield. He graduated from Columbia University in 1945 obtaining his degree in Business. An Army veteran of World War II he received a Purple Heart. He was a member of St. James Church in Basking Ridge, former member of St. Mary's Church in Plainfield and a former member of St. John the Baptist Church in Chestertown. Survivors include his wife of 61 years, Muriel (Early) Haedrich of Basking Ridge; four sons, Joseph F. Haedrich of Basking Ridge, N.J., Thomas W. Haedrich of New Vernon, N.J., William G. Haedrich of Chestertown, N.Y., and Kenneth Haedrich of Annapolis, Md.; three daughters, Barbara H. Foley of Westfield, N.J., Joanne H. Stenersen of Wilmington, N.C., and Mary H. Licata of Bedminster, N.J.; 15 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. Hoffman, William James "Bill" SAN ANTONIO, Texas -- William James "Bill" Hoffman, 76, M/Sgt. USAF Ret. of San Antonio went home to be with the Lord, Saturday, April 16, 2005. Born Oct. 30, 1928, in Warrensburg to Loran and Gertie (Sturdavan) Hoffman, Bill spent his youth in Warrensburg and worked in the bakery with his father. After graduating from high school, Class of 1947, he enlisted in the U.S. Air Force. He was a wonderful and loving husband, father, and grandfather, who was known as "Poppy." Bill proudly served his country for 26 years in the U.S. Air Force. After retiring from the Air Force, he worked in the Security Department at USAA for 15 years. Bill was a member of the American Legion Post No. 0579 and the NCOA. His son and daughter-in-law, Thomas Charles Hoffman and Ruby Ann Hoffman preceded him in death. He is survived by his wife of 31 years, Mine; and daughters, Sandra Prater and her husband Terry, and Terry Ann Albert and husband, Todd; grandchildren, Alexandra Renee Hoffman, and Joshua Michael Novak. Kiepler, Margaret Florence Fleckenstein (Marge) North Carolina -- Margaret (Marge) Florence Fleckenstein Kiepler passed away on Sunday, May 8, 2005. Born on Feb. 17, 1922, in Brooklyn, N.Y., she was the daughter of Florence (Flo) and Dominick (Nick) Fleckenstein of Queens, N.Y. She attended Grover Cleveland High School in Queens. Marge worked as a precision watch assembler for the Bulova Watch Company for five years. She was also a professional vocalist and entertainer at several night clubs in New York City, Long Island and New Jersey. Marge married John Kiepler from Long Island, N.Y. in 1942 and had two children, John Paul and Karen. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, John H. Kiepler on Dec. 18, 1980, and her daughter, Karen C. (Kiepler) McMorris. She is survived by her son, John Paul; and her two grandsons, William Slater and Ryan McMorris. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m., on Wednesday, May 11, 2005, at Our Lady of the Annunciation Church, with the Rev. Joseph Anselment officiating. La Point, Esther E. South Glens Falls -- Esther E. La Point, 84, has now gone to join the love of her life, Fenton. They were residents of North Road, South Glens Falls. They had many happy years there and retirement in Florida. Born Nov. 18, 1920, in Bolton Landing, she was the daughter of the late Francis and Ruth (Langworthy) Palmer of Glens Falls. Esther had attended Glens Falls schools and worked for Newbury's until her marriage. Esther and Fenton were married March 10, 1940. Esther enjoyed her four girls, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and many camping trips. She enjoyed PTA meetings and was a Brownie and Girl Scout Leader. She also helped Fenton with his Glens Falls Little League Teams. Besides her parents and husband, she was predeceased by her son-in-law, Bill Farry, her brother, Francis Palmer Jr. and his wife, Madeline, her sister, June Howk of Queensbury, and brothers-in-law, Gerald Saville of Argyle and George Jones of Hudson Falls. Esther is survived by her daughters, Ruth White and her husband, Ronald, Lois Hopkins and her husband, Tom, Sharon Farry, and Sally Wilcox and her companion, Ernie Wohlmaker; her grandchildren, Robin Fanning, Cathy Zecchini, Ronald White II, Susan Cronin, Hope Barber, Mike Hopkins, Kim Fifield, Lynn Sweet and John Wilcox, Jr.; her great- grandchildren, Mark, Ethan, Nichole, Adam, Aaron, Kayla, Ronnie B., Ramie, Jeremy, Matthew, Jacqueline, Michael, Jordon, Hunter, Kolby, Larry, Zachary and Jacob; her sisters, Doris Smith and her husband, Charles, Shirley Saville; her brother, Raymond Palmer and his wife, Sylvia; her brother-in-law, Roy Howk; and many nieces and nephews. Rose was born on Nov. 10, 1913, in Brownington, Vt., the daughter of Bert and Rose (Thibodeau) Breault and one of their 15 children. Rose was a very strong individual, a woman for all season, yet extremely gentle and prim and proper. She loved dancing, bingo, playing her piano. Rose loved children. She was a member of the VFW Auxiliary and the Modern Woodmen of America. Her first husband, Mason Hall and her second husband, Lawrence C. Leslie both predeceased her. Survivor include her three sons, Richard Mason Hall of Hampton, Va., Floyd G. Hall of Wells, Vt. and Robert D. Hall of Altamont, N.Y.; her four daughters, Lorraine R. Prevost of W. Pawlet,Vt. and Kathryn M. LaCross, Joan L. Graham and Theresa J. Leslie all of Gansevoort, numerous grandchildren; several great- grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. on Thursday, May 12, 2005, at Robert M. King Funeral Home, 23 Church St., Granville, with the Rev. Robert Flower officiating. Loomis, Marie (Kincaid) HOOSICK FALLS -- Marie (Kincaid) Loomis, 83, died Monday, May 9, 2005, at her residence on Loomis Lane in Hoosick Falls, surrounded by her family. She resided there with her husband, Edward F. Loomis Sr. Mr. and Mrs. Loomis were married April 4, 1942, in Hoosick Falls by the Rev. Paul Lynch O.S.A. Marie was born on Sept. 10, 1921, in Hoosick Falls, daughter of the late Harold B. and Mary (Kehn) Kincaid. She was educated at Hoosick Falls High School, graduating in the class of 1939. Marie also graduated from Mildred Elly College in Albany, N.Y. She worked as a secretary all of her life. Her employment included the Noble & Wood, National Commercial Bank & Trust Company both in Hoosick Falls and the Hoosick Falls Health Center. She enjoyed gardening, her Sunday rides through Vermont, gatherings with the "gang" and spending time with her family. Marie was a member of St. Mark's Episcopal Church in Hoosick Falls. Survivors other than her husband Edward include her daughter, Kathy A. Cherry and her husband, Wayne of Saratoga; three sons, Edward F. Loomis Jr. and his wife, Kathlene, of Baltimore, J. Gary Loomis and his wife, Joan, of Easton, and Jeffrey J. Loomis and his wife, Terry, of Hoosick Falls; she is also survived by eight grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren; three stepgrandchildren as well as many friends. Two sister, Marjorie McIntyre and Harriet McCaffrey predeceased her. Funeral services will be at 10:15 a.m. Thursday, May 12 from Mahar Funeral Home, 43 Main St., in Hoosick Falls and at 11 a.m.from St. Mark's Episcopal Church on Main Street in Hoosick Falls. Mulligan, Mary Theresa Bridget BENNINGTON, Vt. -- Mary Theresa Bridget Mulligan, 84, a resident of Weeks Street, died peacefully Sunday, May 8, 2005, at her home. Mrs. Mulligan was born in Wolcott, Vt., on April 14, 1921, she was the daughter of the late Patrick J. and Mary A. (Cullen) Kearney. She grew up in Beverly, Mass. where she graduated from Beverly High School. On Sept. 8, 1945, she was married to Lawrence J. Mulligan in Bronx, N.Y., they had made their home in West Nyack, N.Y. until relocating to Bennington, Vt. in Nov. 1971, Mr. Mulligan died June 24, 1976. Mrs. Mulligan had worked at the former Nichols Department Store on Main Street and as a secretary for the Vermont National Bank and for the Senior Citizens Community Program at the Vermont Veterans Home. She was a communicant of Sacred Heart St. Francis de Sales Church and had been a member of the church choir and ladies prayer group, she was an active member with Bennington Project Independence. Mrs. Mulligan was very proud of her Irish heritage and had traveled to Ireland twice. She enjoyed sewing and had made several pieces of clothing, including bridesmaids dresses and wedding gowns. She also enjoyed reading, loved to sing and enjoyed the company of babies, animals and especially her grandchildren. Mrs. Mulligan is survived by her children, Paul Mulligan of Sugarloaf, N.Y., Edward Mulligan of Bennington, Vt., Katherine Bird of Naples, Fla., Margaret "Peggy" Mulligan of North Bennington, Vt., Susan Mulligan of Norwood, Mass., Martha Mulligan of Needham, Mass. and Loretta Mulligan-Shaw of Glens Falls, a brother, John Kearney of Beverly, Mass., 13 grandchildren, two great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to her husband she was predeceased by her daughter, Theresa Mulligan who died Jan. 13, 1993, and brothers, Robert and Paul Kearney. The Liturgy of Christian Burial will be celebrated from Sacred Heart St. Francis de Sales Church on Friday, May 13 at 10 a.m., a prayer service will precede the Funeral Mass at the Hanson-Walbridge Funeral Home at 9:45 a.m. Burial will follow in the Mulligan family lot in Park Lawn Cemetery. TeBordo, Ernest Fort Lauderdale, Fla. -- Ernest TeBordo, 69, formerly of West Hebron, and Northport Long Island, and 4316 Jackson St. Hollywood, Fla. passed away on Wednesday, April 20, 2005, at St John's Nursing Center in Fort Lauderdale, Fla. Born Sept. 26, 1935, in West Hebron, N.Y., he was the son of Edmund and Hazel TeBordo Ernie graduated from Salem Central School in 1952. He then went on to Albany State Teachers College as a math major where he graduated in 1956. He taught for one year in North Babylon, Long Island, and then on to Japan teaching for one year the children of military personnel at the base there. He then went onto Copaique for 3 years. In September 1963 he went to teach at Cold Spring Harbor and retired from there in 1991. Ernie enjoyed people and traveling. His love was the computer and he taught senior citizens at his condo complex in Florida after relocated there to live out his retirement years. He loved his family very much and attended every celebration there was, up North. The friendships he made along the way were special to him and he made a lot of them. Besides his parents, Ernie was predeceased by a brother, George; a sister, Kathleen TeBordo Adams; two sisters-in-law, Alice Nolin TeBordo, and the Rev. Terri Stine TeBordo; two brothers-in-law, Spike Adams, and Harold Enqwer; a stepmother, Grace Payne TeBordo. Survivors include a sister, Patricia TeBordo Engwer of Glens Falls, a brother, the Rev. Nicholas TeBordo of Cohoes; nieces are Linda TeBordo of Glens Falls, Christine Adams Carta Legg of Queensbury, Sherrie Adams Morse of South Glens Falls, Julie Engwer Hayes, of Warrensburg, Dawn Engwer Bannin of Glens Falls, Nicole Engwer Paradise, of Glens Falls, Rebecca TeBordo Hogan of Jacksonville, Fla., Katlyn Tebordo of Cohoes, Abigail TeBordo of Cohoes, Regina Tebordo Phillips, of Cohoes; nephews are David TeBordo of Myrtle Beach, S.C., Bob Adams of Granville, Tim Engwer of Glens Falls, Christian TeBordo of Philadelphia, Pa., Timothy TeBordo of Philadelphia, Pa., and Zachary TeBordo of Cohoes.
