Born June 27, 1955, in Central Islip, Long Island, he was the son of the late Alfred and Constance (Sittera) Neuweiler. Jack graduated from Grover Cleveland High School in Queens, and went on to work for City Bank in Manhattan. In 1976, Jack moved to Warrensburg, and owned and operated the former Messenger House Tavern. He and his companion, Diane Peters, and his brother, Bob, have been operating Spirits Tavern on River Street in Warrensburg for the last several years. Jack enjoyed music and playing guitar. Besides his companion, Diane, and his brother, Bob, he also leaves his sister, Terry Braea and her husband, Mario, of Boca Raton, Fla.; a niece, Robin of Boston, Mass.; a nephew, Robert of Oceanside; and his beloved dog, Vodka. Memorial services will be conducted at 7 p.m. Thursday May 19, at Alexander-Baker Funeral Home, 3809 Main St., Warrensburg. There are no calling hours scheduled. St.Clair, Doreen A. (Jillson) WHITEHALL -- Doreen A. St.Clair, 76, went peacefully home to the Lord on Wednesday, May 11, 2005, at Haven Health Center in Rutland, Vt., surrounded by her loving family. Born on Dec. 30, 1928, in Whitehall, she was the daughter of Stewart and Dorothy (Day) Jillson. Doreen was a graduate of Whitehall High School and Ellis School of Nursing. As a registered nurse, her career included many years of employment at Glens Falls Hospital as a staff nurse and assistant director of nursing. She was later employed as school nurse at Whitehall High School. Doreen was a 25-year participant in the Harvard Nurses Research Project. She was proud of her affiliation with Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR) and enjoyed her various genealogy projects. She was an original Adirondack Red Wings season ticket holder and a member of their booster club. She enjoyed traveling and spending time with her family. Doreen will be remembered as a caring and loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her nephew, Steven R. Jillson. She is survived by her husband of 54 years, James A. St.Clair Sr. of Whitehall, whom she married on Sept. 30, 1950; and their children: Denise Gilchrest and her husband, Butch, of Shushan, Jacquelyn Nichols and her husband, Thomas, James A. St.Clair Jr. and his fiancee, Susan Davis, and Jean O'Brien and her husband, Michael, all of Whitehall; her grandchildren: Ian Gilchrest of Shushan, Brooke Mowatt and her husband, Justin, Carly and Troy Nichols, Taylor, Jordan, and Luc St.Clair, Courtney Davis, and Lauren and Paul O'Brien of Whitehall; her brother, Richard S. Jillson of Whitehall; and a special aunt, Blanche Jillson Callery of Johnstown. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday, May 13, at Jillson Funeral Home, 46 Williams St., Whitehall. Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Saturday, May 14, at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Greenmount Cemetery. CORINTH -- Agnes M. Streeter, 88, formerly of The Jesse, 47 Hack Road, Corinth, died Tuesday, May 10, 2005, at Wesley Health Care Center in Saratoga Springs following a long illness. Born on Dec. 20, 1916, in Fort Edward, she was the daughter of the late Albert and Mabel Goman. Mrs. Streeter attended school in Fort Edward. She married Arnie Streeter and the couple resided on Castle Road in South Glens Falls for many years. He died before her. Mrs. Streeter was employed at several factories in the Glens Falls area for many years. Besides her husband and her parents, one brother, Albert Goman, died before her. Survivors include all her friends who cared for her. A graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, May 13, at Union Cemetery, Fort Edward. Wallace Jr., William "Bill" South Glens Falls -- William "Bill" Wallace Jr., 86, of Saratoga Road, Evergreen Trailer Park, died Monday, May 9, 2005, in his home. Born Aug. 24, 1918, in Pottersville, he was the son of the late William Sr. and Maude (Drake) Wallace. Bill served in the U.S. Army during World War II. He retired from the former Hercules Co. after 30 years of service in the maintenance department. He enjoyed his ballgames, especially the New York Yankee's, No. 1 and his dog, Abil, was his best friend. William is survived by his caregivers, Mary Ann Owens and Ed Skellie; his brother-in-law, James (Pat) Goodman of North Creek; a nephew; four nieces; and many friends. There will be no calling hours at the request of the family. Graveside services will be held at 6 p.m. Monday, May 16, 2005, at Griswold Cemetery, Pottersville, with the Rev. David Adams officiating. Donations may be made in William's name to the Moreau Rescue Squad, 1583 Route 9, Fort Edward, NY 12828-9433. Arrangements are under the direction of M.B.
