Lake George -- Linda L. "Fudge" Curtis, 47, of Hubble Lane, passed away, Thursday, Oct. 6, 2005, from injuries sustained in a tragic accident in Bolton Landing. Born July 9, 1958, in Worcester, Mass., she was the daughter of the late Clarence and Jacqueline (Smith) Curtis. Linda graduated from Lake George High School in 1976, and attended Endicott College in Beverly, Mass. For 15 years, she worked for the Grand Union in Queensbury and Fort Edward before spending the last 11 years with the Warren County Highway Department on the paving crew. Linda loved her job and the crew she worked with. Linda enjoyed life to the fullest. She was the life of the party and everyone who knew her, loved her. Her passions in life were spending time with her niece and nephew, photography, camping and her dogs, Raffles, June bug and Gizzy. Her favorite time of year was Halloween. She and her Wicca sisters, Gina, Denise, Mags, Dee Dee, Cyn, Stacy and Robyn would all travel to Salem, Mass., for celebration. Linda was a faithful Fire Police member of the Lake George Volunteer Fire Company. She leaves behind her twin sister, Deborah Trentacoste and her husband, Joseph, of Queensbury; her niece, Alyssa Rose Trentacoste; and her nephew, Joseph Trentacoste, both of Queensbury; two aunts, Sydney Cusick and her husband, Pat, of Worcester, Mass., Leslie Smith of Worcester, Mass.; her brother-in-law's parents, Angelo and Beatrice Trentacoste of Port Saint Lucie, Fla.; her best friend, Gina Corlew of Lake George and her special friend, Pat Malone of Queensbury. Friends may call on Linda's family from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at Alexander-Baker Funeral Home, 3809 Main St., Warrensburg. Members of the Lake George Volunteer Fire Co. will act as honor guard during the visitation. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at a time to be announced. Tuesday at Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church, 51 Mohican St., Lake George with the Rev. Bernard Turner, pastor, officiating. Rite of Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery, Lake George. LaCourse, Arsen Lean SALT SPRINGS, Fla. -- Arsen Lean LaCourse, 67, of Salt Springs, Fla. and formerly of Newcomb, N.Y., was welcomed home to the Lord surrounded by his family on Thursday, Sept. 29, 2005. He was born Dec. 24, 1937, in Newcomb, N.Y., son of Alcide and Blanche LaCourse. Arsen was a teacher at Newcomb Central School where his passion for sports, music and theatre moved him to coach basketball, referee, and direct countless student performances. An avid sportsman, Arsen loved to hunt and fish in the Adirondacks. He was an active community member involved in numerous organizations, clubs and local theatre. After retirement, Arsen moved to Florida, where he enjoyed fishing on his boat in the ocean and lakes, writing music, reading his Bible, painting and woodcarving. Arsen loved the Lord and led music at his local church. He is survived by his wife, Diana LaCourse of Salt Springs, Fla.; his sister, Lillian Kasper, of Keeseville, N.Y.; three children, Joel LaCourse of Tulsa, Okla., Lisa Moskowitz of Wichita, Kan., and Beth Lawyer of Tupper Lake, N.Y.; and five grandchildren: Benjamin, Alyssa and Tyler LaCourse of Tulsa, Okla., and Robert Lawyer III and Amber Lawyer of Tupper Lake, N.Y. Osier, Alice Elizabeth (Moore) Ticonderoga -- Alice Elizabeth (Moore) Osier, 88, of Putts Pond Road, passed away Wednesday, Oct. 5, 2005, at the Moses-Ludington Nursing Home of Ticonderoga. Born in Ticonderoga, Jan. 28, 1917, she was the daughter of the late Herbert and Mary (Palmer) Moore. Mrs. Osier was a lifelong resident of Ticonderoga. She was predeceased by her husband, Bernard R. Osier on Aug. 4, 1997. Survivors include two sons, Gary R. Osier, and Keith R. Osier and his wife, Patty, all of Ticonderoga; one daughter, Amelia (Sis) Mielewski and her husband, Frank, of Clifton Park; three sisters, Helen Urquahart of Tucson, Ariz., Sarah Arthur of Florida, and Charlotte Clark of Whitehall. She is also survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. There will be no calling hours. A graveside service will take place Wednesday, Oct. 12, 2005, at 11 a.m. at the Chilson Community Cemetery of Ticonderoga. Smith, Ruth SALEM - Ruth Smith, 74, of Salem, died Thursday morning, Oct. 6, 2005, at Glens Falls Hospital. She was born Jan. 31, 1931, in Long Island, the daughter of the late Henry and Freida Mahlstedt Euler. Ruth graduated from Cambridge schools and was employed at the Salem Central School in the cafeteria for 25 years before retiring. She was a member of Salem United Methodist Church and the Order of the Eastern Star. Ruth enjoyed knitting, flowers and gardening, cooking and loved traveling and wintered in Florida for the past several years. In addition to her parents, Ruth was predeceased by her husband of 46 years, Russell V. Smith; a daughter, Barbara A. Smith, as well as her brother, John Euler. She is survived by her brother, Harold Euler of Saratoga Springs; her brother and sister in law, Lyle and Shirley Smith of West Boylston, Mass; and several nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be held on Saturday, Oct. 22, at 11:30 a.m. at Evergreen Cemetery in Salem, with the Rev. Debbie Earthrowl officiating. Tucci, 92, formerly of Dobbs Ferry died Thursday, Oct. 6, 2005, at Glens Falls Hospital after a long illness. Born in Torre di Ruggiero, Italy, he was the son of the late Joseph and Maria (Nistico) Tucci. Mr. Tucci retired after more than 40 years as an automobile mechanic with Linder Oldsmobile of the Bronx. He was a member of Our Lady of Pompeii Catholic Church in Dobbs Ferry. Mr. Tucci's hobbies included golf, pinochle and gardening. Mr. Tucci will be remembered as a loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. He was predeceased by his wife of 68 years, Eleanor Marra Tucci, who passed away Oct. 4, 2004; three brothers, Frank Tucci, George Tucci, and John Tucci; three sisters, Margaret Baldassare, Louise Gagliardi, and Florence Cacciatore. Survivors include two sons, Joseph and his wife, Dorothy, of Elmsford, and Frank Tucci and his wife, Bonnie, of Chestertown; four grandchildren, Joseph Tucci and his wife, Kora, Michael Tucci and his wife, Margherita, James Tucci and his fiance‚ Becky Perault, and Jennifer Tucci; four great- grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 11, at Our Lady of Pompeii Catholic Church, Dobbs Ferry, N.Y. Interment will be at Mount Hope Cemetery, Hastings on Hudson.
