CLEMONS -- Daniel B. Barber, 47, of Pike Brook Road, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, Oct. 10, 2005, at his home. Born on Nov. 2, 1957, in Glens Falls, he was the son of Wallace and Allie (Rehm) Barber. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, outdoor gardening, spending time on his computer and he had a great sense of humor. Besides his mother, he is survived by two sisters, Nancy Barber of Whitehall and Peggy Branchaud of Whitehall; two aunts, Josie Kamuda of Wallingford, Vt. and Edna Rehm of Granville; and one uncle, Edward Rehm of Clemons; several other aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. There will be no calling hours. However, friends and family may visit at their home. A memorial service will be conducted at a time to be announced at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 63 Beckwith Road, Whitehall. Belair, Joan SOUTH GLENS FALLS -- Joan Belair, 69, of Ferry Boulevard, died Monday, Oct. 10, 2005, at Glens Falls Hospital, after a long illness, surrounded by her family. Born on April 10, 1936, in Fort Edward, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Anna (Colvin) Cimo. Joan retired from Valcour in Glens Falls after many years as a Customer Service Representative. Joan's family was very precious to her, and she loved spending time with them. Besides her parents, Joan was predeceased by her sisters: Josephine Neroni, Mary Nadeau, and Florence Barber; and an infant brother, Andrew Cimo. Survivors include her sons, Barry Barclay Belair, of Glens Falls, Joseph Homer Belair II, and his wife, Mary, of South Glens Falls, Patrick Alan Belair, and his wife, Jayne, of South Glens Falls, Andrew Charles Belair, and his wife, Juanita, of Hudson Falls, and Bruce Anthony Belair, of South Glens Falls; her grandchildren, Tanya Morehouse, Stacia Saunders, Sean, Adam, Elizabeth, Heather, Ryan, Ranitajean, Joshua, Candace, Brandon, and Brittania Belair; six great-grandchildren; her sister, Anne Rock and her husband, Lloyd, of Queensbury, and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Brunelle, 80, passed away Monday, Oct. 10, 2005, at Eden Park Health Care Facility after a long illness. He was born in Chazy, N.Y., on Feb. 27, 1925, the son of the late Albert and Alice (Mayo) Brunelle. Roswell was a veteran of the United States Coast Guard, serving in Alaska. He earned his degree as a member of the Albany Business College, Class of 1947, graduating with highest honors. As a public accountant, he worked for many area businesses. He also started his own accounting business, R.J. Brunelle Accounting Service, in South Glens Falls and Queensbury. Roswell was very involved in St. Mary's Church, serving as a Eucharistic minister, a lector, a head usher and a member of the Legion of Mary. He also diligently worked for the food pantry and the bereavement committee. Roswell also served as an usher at St. Michael's Archangel in South Glens Falls. He believed in and supported the charismatic movement along with Father Fisher. He also was a member and past president of the South Glens Falls Rotary, a member of the Chamber of Commerce and a village trustee of South Glens Falls. Roswell was predeceased by his parents, his wife, Doris J. Brunelle, who passed away in 1982, his second wife, Margaret C. Brunelle, who passed away in 1995, his brothers, George and Talmond Brunelle, also predeceased him. He is survived by his wife, Sylvia (Cooney) Brunelle, of Queensbury; his only son, John Brunelle and his wife, Ellen, of Pittsfield, Mass.; his sister, Justine Lemery of Queensbury; several grandchildren; nieces and nephews. He also is survived by the children of his deceased wife, Margaret, Christine Germain, of Glens Falls, Maggie Fahlmann, of Queensbury, Helen Sullivan, of Upper Jay, N.Y. and William Charles Germain of Glens Falls. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Friday, Oct. 14, 2005, at St. Mary's Church, Warren Street, Glens Falls ,with Father Charles Gaffigan, officiating. Burial will follow at St. Mary's Cemetery, South Glens Falls. Family will receive friends today, Wednesday, Oct. 12, 2005, from 7 to 9 p.m., and Thursday Oct. 13, 2005, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. at Singleton-Healy Funeral Home, 407 Bay Road, Queensbury. DeWolfe, Alice R. MIDDLEVILLE -- Alice R. DeWolfe, 88, of 31 South Main St., Middleville, N.Y., and a longtime South Glens Falls resident, passed away on Friday Oct. 7, 2005, at her home. She was born Feb. 9, 1917, in Watertown, N.Y., the daughter of the late George B. and Sarah M. (Mattison) Hepburn. Alice was a graduate of Watertown High School, class of 1934, and furthered her education by attending a business school. Her marriage to Frederick G. DeWolfe took place in 1939. The couple shared a blessed union of 56 years together until the passing of Mr. DeWolfe in January of 1995. At one time, along with her husband, she owned and operated DeWolfe's Music House in Glens Falls. Mrs. DeWolfe was a member of the Fist Presbyterian Church of Glens Falls, and was an honorary member of the Glens Falls Kiwanis Club. With family as her foremost priority, Alice proved herself a loving and caring mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. In her leisure, she enjoyed sewing and gardening. Survivors include her four daughters, Linda R. Fox and her husband, Craig, of Middleville, N.Y., Sandra Lee Toomer and her husband, Allan, of Wrightsville, N.C., Andrea K. Scofield and her husband, Frank, of Northborough, Mass., and Janice E. Reed and her husband, Donald, of Wiesbaden, Germany; five grandchildren, Nicole A. Fox, Noelle A. Nuzzy and her husband, John, Marilyn C. Reed, Jason B. Reed, and Scott A. Toomer and his wife, Carla, a great-granddaughter, Carson Grace Toomer and many nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by two brothers, Homer Franklin and George B. Hepburn. Memorial services will be held at a later date at the convenience of the family in Glens Falls. Lupinacci Jr., Angelo "Tony" or "Lupi" STONY CREEK -- Angelo "Tony" "Lupi" Lupinacci Jr. passed away suddenly from cardiac arrest, Friday, Oct. 7, 2005, while having dinner with friends at the Stony Creek Inn. Born in Stamford, Conn., on Aug. 18, 1944, he was the son of the late Angelo and Maria (Servidio) Lupinacci. He was employed in Albany, N.Y., by A.S. Crisafulli Plumbing & Heating as a dispatcher. He spent many years employed in the Stony Creek/Lake Luzerne area in the restaurant business. Prior to moving to Stony Creek, he resided in Stamford, Conn., Wilmington, Del., and West Palm Beach, Fla. Tony began his career at age 17 as a cowboy at the Painted Pony Dude Ranch in addition to other ranches on the dude ranch trail. After years of traveling, Tony made the Stony Creek area his home because of his love for his close friends. Tony was well-known for his unique sense of humor, compassion, loyalty and giving heart. Tony was a free spirit, a boy with a dream, and at the time of his death, was in the process of writing a book concerning his passions and adventures. His wish was that his book would be published and that 25 percent of the proceeds be donated to the Double H Hole in the Woods Camp in Lake Luzerne, a camp for critically ill children founded by Charlie Wood and Paul Newman. Tony was looking forward to retiring and playing golf in South Carolina and being near his family. Tony's exuberant energy and passions were manifested in his many loves which included being with friends, cooking creative dinners with ingredients from his garden; playing golf, fantasy baseball (favorite team the N.Y. Yankees), football, enjoying music and dancing with all the women at the Stony Creek Inn. Tony also loved his crazy dog, Tatoo, wherever Tatoo maybe. Tony's vibrant spirit and never ending wit will be sorely missed by all who knew him and loved him. Survivors include his two sisters, Teri Lupinacci of Charleston, S.C., and Carol Brown of Hollywood, S.C.; two nieces, Tracey Pendleton and Toni Lynn Gentile, both of Charleston, S.C.; grandnephew, Tyler Pendleton; and grandniece, Jessann Gentile, of Charleston, S.C. At Tony's request, there will be no calling hours or funeral service. There will be a private memorial family service in Charleston, S.C., at a later date. A celebration of Tony's life will be held at the Stony Creek Inn at 6 p.m. Friday, Oct. 14, 2005, with live music by John Kribs. Tony had planned a party for Oct. 14, so his friends and sister Teri decided to honor his wishes and go through with his plan. A quote from Tony for all of us to cherish and remember is that Tony was "one of those people that are gone forever, but never leave you." Nociasta, Lila Raymond HUNLOCK CREEK -- Lila Raymond Nociasta, 66, of Mizdale Road, Hunlock Creek, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, Oct. 11, 2005, at home. Born in March of 1939 in Ticonderoga, N.Y., she was the daughter of the late Donald James and Martha McAuley Raymond. She was preceded in death by brothers, Donald, Claude, and James, and sister, Kathryn Smith. Surviving are her husband, Frank, brothers, Gerald of Minerva, George of Greenfield, Mo.; sisters, Muriel D'Hane of Adrian, Mo. and Phyllis Jacobs of Schroon Lake; and over 80 nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. from the Charles L. Cease Funeral Home, 634 Reyburn Road, Shickshinny, with the Rev. C. Glenn Neely of the Reyburn Bible Church, officiating. Interment will be in Benscoter Cemetery, Muhlenburg. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Shaw, 37, passed away on Tuesday, Oct. 11, 2005, at Glens Falls Hospital following a long illness. Born on Oct. 2, 1968, in Glens Falls, he was the son of Harold Shaw of Olmstedville and Hosuk Na of Queensbury. He was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Glens Falls, where he was an active leader in the youth group and its many activities. William graduated from Minerva Central School in 1987, and was a graduate of the Mildred Elly School. He was employed by the town of Queensbury as a technology coordinator for seven years. William enjoyed skiing, mountain biking, computers and photography, but his greatest enjoyment was the time he spent with his family. He was also a past member of the Minerva Fire & Rescue Squad. William was predeceased by his maternal grandparents, Pok Nam Lee and Kab Joung Choi, and his paternal grandparents, William Shaw and Dora Shaw. Survivors include his wife, Tracy Shaw, of Queensbury; his children, Jeremy Shaw and Celyna Shaw, of Queensbury; his mother, Hosuk Na, and stepfather, Hyun Na, of Queensbury; his father, Harold Shaw, and stepmother, Nancy Shaw, of Olmstedville; a sister, Lisa Persons, and her husband, Doug, of North Creek; two nieces, Rebecca Persons and Rachel Persons, of North Creek and several aunts, uncles and cousins. A funeral service will be celebrated at 1 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 14, 2005. at the First Presbyterian Church of Glens Falls, Glen Street, Glens Falls. Burial will follow at Pine View Cemetery.
