Born on Aug. 20, 1934, in Brandon, Vt., she was the daughter of the late William and Marion (Howard) Andrus. On Aug. 27, 1950, she married Ernest Albrecht on Staten Island. For many years, Mrs. Albrecht was a waitress at the Montcalm Restaurants in Lake George and Queensbury. She also worked at the Bavarian House in Lake George and in later years, provided child care in her home. She was a member of the Living Waters Church of God in South Glens Falls. Mrs. Albrecht loved her Lord and family. She enjoyed crocheting and spending time with her children and grandchildren. She was always very thankful when someone would do anything for her. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her brother, Charles Andrus. Survivors include her husband of 55 years, Ernest Albrecht of Hudson Falls; her five sons, Dennis Albrecht and his wife, Mary, and Thomas Albrecht and his wife, Cindy, all of Hudson Falls, Charles Albrecht and his wife, Tammy, of Saratoga Springs, Dwight Albrecht and his wife, Linda, of Hudson Falls, and Ernest Albrecht and his wife, Tina, of Iowa; her daughter, Joyce Ormsby and her husband, Ken, of Fort Edward; two brothers, Royce Andrus of Fair Haven, Vt. and William Andrus and his wife, Susan, of Colchester, Vt.; five sisters, Madge Youngs of Hudson Falls, Dorothy Wescott and Debra Charpentier, both of Whitehall, Shirley Sears and her husband, Harold, of Hydeville, Vt., and Linda Jero and her husband, Timothy, of Florida; 18 grandchildren, Wendy, John, Heather, Ernie, Paul, Scott, Josh, Bill, Chad, Thomas Jr., April, Andrea, Kenny, Lucas, Cole, Charles Jr., Michael and Taylor; 13 great- grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Friends may call Monday, today, from 3 to 5 p.m. at Carleton Funeral Home, Inc., 68 Main St. in Hudson Falls. Funeral services will be conducted at 5 p.m. on Monday, today, at the funeral home, with The Rev. David Lefurgey, pastor of the Hudson Falls United Methodist Church, officiating. Following the funeral service, all are welcome to gather with Mrs. Albrecht's family at the United Methodist Church Hall, 227 Main St. in Hudson Falls for friendship and refreshment. Published in the Post-Star from 10/16/2005 - 10/17/2005. Cleveland, Wilma Katherine GLENS FALLS -Wilma Katherine Cleveland, died Friday, Oct. 14, 2005, at Glens Falls Hospital. Born on Aug. 19, 1931, she was the daughter of Cecelia Phelps Provanchia and Grant Provanchia. Wilma was married to John Leo Cleveland for 29 years. Wilma was a Licensed Practical Nurse at Glens Falls Hospital for 19 years before retiring. She was an active member of Glens Falls Senior Center, a member of Saint Mary's Parish, and in recent years volunteered at Head Start. Besides her parents, Wilma was predeceased by two brothers, Charlie and Melvin of Crown Point, and one sister, Marjorie Gansowski of Ancramdale, N.Y. She was also predeceased by one daughter, Susan Neer of Ancramdale, N.Y. She is survived by Sandra Lorenson of Queensbury, Carol Cleveland of Las Vegas, Nev., and Betsy Cleveland of Queensbury; four grandchildren of Queensbury; and many nieces, nephews and treasured friends. Czeladyn, John HARTFORD - John Czeladyn, 71, of Christian Hill Road, passed away peacefully, Sunday, Oct. 16, 2005, surrounded by his family, at home, after a long illness. Born July 24, 1934, in Staten Island, N.Y., he was the son of the late Michael and Anna (Marusky ) Czeladyn. He graduated from McKee High School in Staten Island. During the Korean Conflict, he served with the Army Corp of Engineers. John married Ellen Caprood on Staten Island in August of 1970. In Brooklyn, John worked for the Longshoreman's Union as a welder burner for many years. John and his family resided in Staten Island before moving to Hartford. He belonged to El Bethel Assembly of God Church in Staten Island. He enjoyed gardening, picking mushrooms and berries, visiting his sisters in Speculator, and meeting new people. He was very proud of his Ukrainian heritage. His family said "Dad was a very kind and giving person who loved and cared for his family right up to the end of his life. He loved his wife, children and grandchildren very much and devoted much of his life to his family and friends. He will be dearly missed." Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his sister, Rose Alfano and her husband, Bob, and his brother-in-law, Arnold Olsen. John is survived by his wife, of 35 years, Ellen Czeladyn of Hartford; his children, Michael Czeladyn of Granville, James Czeladyn and his wife, Jody; of Glens Falls, Ruth Durling and her husband, Michael, of Hartford, Beth Nicholson and her husband, Nathaniel, of Hudson Falls; five grandchildren, Jarod Nicholson, Esther Nicholson, Lily Nicholson, Penelope Nicholson and Hannah Czeladyn; three sisters, Nellie Eriksen and her husband, Ronald, of Spring Valley, N.Y., Bunny Olsen and Anna Osterberg and her husband, John, all of South Carolina, and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Published in the Post-Star on 10/17/2005. Effland, Elizabeth Jane GLENS FALLS -- Elizabeth Jane Effland, 79, passed away Sunday, Oct. 16, 2005, at her home. Born on May 18, 1926, in Glens Falls, she was the daughter of Walter and Irene Effland. Elizabeth was a graduate of Glens Falls High School, Class of 1944, and worked for B. B. Fowler for one year before attending Marion College in Marion, Ind. She worked for several years at Wesleyan Publishing House in Syracuse, and approximately 10 years for Word of Life in New Jersey and Schroon Lake. She worked as an accountant, from 1964 until her retirement in 1988, at Houghton College in Houghton, N.Y. Upon her retirement, she returned to Glens Falls, but spent winters at Wesleyan Village in Brooksville, Fla., where she was a member of Brooksville Wesleyan Methodist Church. Betty was an accomplished seamstress and made over 1300 teddy bears. Survivors include two sisters, Alice Effland and Mary Hill; a niece, Deborah Hill, all of Glens Falls; and several cousins. A funeral service will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 19, at Regan & Denny Funeral Home, 53 Quaker Road, Queensbury, with the Rev. Gerald Matson officiating. Frolish, Mary Ann (Hika) Saratoga Springs - Mary Ann (Hika) Frolish, of Route 29, passed away Saturday evening, Oct. 15, 2005, at Glens Falls Hospital. She was 90. Born on Oct. 20, 1914, in Bay Shore, Long Island, she was a daughter of the late Martin and Julia (Stehlik) Hika. She was a member of St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Church in Greenfield Center and was a resident of the area for many years. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Ludwig J. Frolish, who died on Sept. 1, 1977. Survivors include two sisters, Josephine Malik of Schenectady and Frances Krywy of Ballston Spa; and several nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Wednesday, at St. Joseph's Church, 3159 Route 9N, Greenfield Center. Burial will follow in the family plot in St. Peter's Cemetery, West Ave. Friends may call from 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, at William J. "Ollie" Kenerson Jr., 36, passed away Sunday, Oct. 16, 2005, surrounded by his loving family and friends. Born on Dec. 28, 1968, in Worcester, Mass., he was the son of Elizabeth Ann (Caouette) Kenerson of Worcester, Mass., and the late Oliver V. Kenerson Sr. Ollie was employed by the Glens Falls Hospital for 11 years, starting in dietary, then the X-ray department and most recently as a radiation technician. He also worked for Warren County ARC at the Ridge House in Glens Falls. A year-round fisherman, he loved to fish with his buddies, Earl, Curtis, Dave and Hazel. Ollie loved the Boston Red Sox -- woof, woof, woof, and loved to travel with his loving family, especially to Disney. He loved video games and arcades and was a joker, always putting a smile on your face. Best of all, he loved spending time with his wife, kids and many friends. Beside his father, Samantha the ferret predeceased him. Survivors besides his mom include his wife, Jeanette Alvarado of Queensbury; his children, Alexandria E. Kenerson, Oliver V. Kenerson III and Shawn M. Kenerson, Monique Vargas of Florida and Jeffrey Vargas of Glens Falls; two sisters, Barbara Parsley and her husband, Al, of Massachusetts and Linda Martinez and her husband, William, of Glens Falls; two brothers, Steve Kenerson and his wife, Suzanne Rice, of Glens Falls and Fred Bumgarner of Massachusetts; nephews and nieces, Alisha, Cheenell, Briana, Oceana, Desire, Steven, Elizabeth, Zach, Lucas, Shai and Zahriah; his mother-in-law, Marianella Williams of South Glens Falls, his sisters-in-law, India Vargas of Glens Falls and Wanda Alvarado of Massachusetts, and all the rest of his extended family; also all of the people at Glens Falls Hospital and ARC who Ollie thought of as part of his family. Mouton, Philip R. Chestertown - Philip R. Mouton, 73, died Saturday, Oct. 15, 2005, at Glens Falls Hospital. Born in Mineola, N.Y., he was the son of the late Charles E. Mouton and Gertrude (Stegner) Mouton Grumbach. Mr. Mouton was a retired foreman with Warren County Department of Public Works. He was a Korean War Veteran serving in the U.S Air Force as Airman Third Class. Phil's hobbies included wood working, fishing, computers and his Department 56 Heritage Village Collection. He also took such pride in taking care of his home. Phil will be remembered as a loving husband, brother-in-law, uncle and friend. Besides his parents he was predeceased by his stepfather Paul Grumbach, one brother Charles E. Mouton. Survivors include his wife of 49 years, Joyce Hensler Mouton of Chestertown, whom he married Oct. 7, 1956; one brother-in-law, James Hensler of Chestertown; two sister-in-laws, Jean Hensler of Hempstead, and Frances Mouton of East Meadow; two nephews, Thomas Mouton and his wife, Patricia, and Richard Mouton and his wife, Eileen; two nieces, Laureen Maybie and her husband, Joseph, and Lynda Smith and her husband, Roy; four great-nieces, Stephanie and Lisa Maybie, and Samantha and Daniell Mouton; two great-nephews, Michael and Kevin Mouton; and many close friends. Scurlock, George "Nick" Queensbury -George "Nick" Scurlock, 52, of Queensbury, passed away suddenly Saturday Oct. 15, 2005, at his home. He was born June 30, 1953, in Columbus, Ohio, the son of George W. and Emma (Campbell) Scurlock of South Glens Falls. Nick was raised in Virginia Beach; he attended Clearwater Christian College in Florida and graduated from the Word of Life Bible Institute in Pottersville, N.Y. After graduating, he worked various painting jobs in the Boston area before starting his own painting business in Rockport and Nantucket, he also worked for General Dynamics Shipyard. Nick then met his wife, Lynda, they married Nov. 5, 1995. For the last 6 years Nick was an antique dealer in the Glens Falls area. Nick enjoyed going fishing, a round of golf, playing with his dog "Chief", and watching any Boston Sports Team on television; he also enjoyed the tranquility, and beauty of the Adirondacks. Nick is survived by his parents, George and Emma Scurlock of South Glens Falls; his wife of 10 years, Lynda Scurlock of Queensbury; his two sisters, Carolyn Heering and husband, John, of Cary, N.C., and Joanne Feltz and husband, David, of Schroon Lake; two nieces and two nephews; his beloved dog, Chief; his extended family and many friends. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 18, 2005, at Singleton-Healy Funeral Home, 407 Bay Road, Queensbury, with pastor Robert Flower officiating. Swart, died Friday, Oct. 14, 2005, at the Orchard Nursing Centre in Granville. She was born Oct. 22, 1910, to William and Adeline (Buckley) Huyler in Hackensack, N.J. She was predeceased by her husband, Craig Swart. She is survived by three children, Peter Swart of Riverside, Calif., Judith Webb of Sewanee, Tenn., and Kate Canning of Rupert, Vt.; four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Settling in Vermont in 1950, Carolyn owned and operated the Black Shutters Bed and Breakfast in Weston, Vt., for many years. Mom crossed over peacefully just eight days before her 95 birthday. She will be remembered as a woman of great strength, beauty and wit. Her love of nature, music and her faith, in God are gifts she passed on to all who knew her. She had a lifelong love of animals, especially her cats having adopted many a stray. In her later years even with a gradual loss of memory she remained the Scrabble "Queen" often beating all comers. Her sense of humor and penchant for quips have left many memories of humorous moments. We will all remember her favorite prayer, "The light of God surrounds me, the love of God enfolds me, the power of God protects me, where ever I am God is there." Mom will be held in our hearts as her journey continues. There will be a memorial service held next spring at the cemetery in Weston. The date will be announced later. Viger, Ernest Joseph "Joe" PALM BAY, Fla. - Ernest Joseph "Joe" Viger, 55, died Saturday, Oct. 15, 2005. Born in Glens Falls, he moved to Florida in 1984. In New York he coached wrestling and football at Glens Falls High School and worked at Finch, Pruyn & Co. Inc. After moving to Florida he served with the State Department of Corrections, retiring at the rank of Sergeant, and enjoyed his family and fixing up around the house. His family includes his wife of 37 years, Sheila Viger; children, Joseph Viger of Palm Bay, Fla., Leslie McAllister of Tennessee, Ashley Viger of Palm Bay, Fla., Michael Viger in the U.S. Army, and Aimee Viger of Palm Bay, Fla.; five grandchildren; his sister, Linda Pangburn of West Melbourne Fla.; and lots of nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Helen and Ernest George Viger. Services will be at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 19, 2005, at the South Brevard Funeral Home, Melbourne Fla.
