SOUTH GLENS FALLS -- Bertha D. Delarm, 88, passed away on Wednesday, Sept. 14, 2005, at Wesley Health Care Center with her loving daughters by her side. Born on March 21, 1917, in Whitehall, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Armenia (Rodd) Gordon. Bertha loved gardening and the flowers that were a product of her love and attention. She also loved to dance and sing and make people laugh. Her mission was to bring laughter to everyone. Besides her parents, Bertha was predeceased by her husband of 18 years, Cecil W. Delarm, who passed away in 1956. She was also predeceased by her sisters, Margaret Aubin, Katherine Gordon, Eleanor Carpenter and Veronica Gebo; and her brothers, Joseph Gordon, Howard Gordon and Donald Gordon. Bertha is survived by her daughters, Gail Pike and her husband, Jerry, of South Glens Falls, and Joan Delarm of Massena; a granddaughter, Kimberly Duggan and her husband, Rick, of Wilton; a grandson, Jonathan Pike of Martha's Vineyard, Mass.; her sister, Lorraine Allaire and her husband, Marcel, of Whitehall; and several nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m., on Saturday, Sept. 17, at St. Michael the Archangel Church, 80 Saratoga Ave., South Glens Falls, with Father Robert Nugent officiating. "Bebo" Donovan, 53, passed away unexpectedly Sunday, Sept. 11, 2005, as a result of being struck fatally by a car. Born Nov. 1, 1951, in Glens Falls, he was the son of Louise Graves and the late Robert J. Donovan. He was a graduate of South Glens Falls High School. Timothy was a member of the Catholic faith. He loved the outdoors, and his animals. Timothy was a former junior member of the Moreau Emergency Squad. He was predeceased by his infant son, Sean Donovan, his father, Robert J. Donovan, his stepfather, Harry Graves, and his sister-in-law, Shelly Donovan. Besides his mother, he is survived by his four children: James Donovan of San Francisco, Calif., Jessica Donovan of Glens Falls, Cassidy Donovan of Albuquerque, N.M., and Kevin Donovan of Albuquerque, N.M.; two brothers, Charles Donovan of Hartford and Richard Donovan of Glens Falls; two sisters, Barbara (Mike) Kramer of Fayetteville, N.C., and Phyllis Moffitt of Gansevoort; several nieces and nephews, one great-nephew; and several aunts, uncles and cousins. SCHUYLERVILLE -- Carol J. Huber, 70, a resident of Schuylerville Manor, died Wednesday, Sept. 14, 2005, at Saratoga Hospital. Born April 11, 1935, in Bacon Hill, she was the daughter of Ernest and Eleanor Boyce Coffinger. Carol was a member of the Schuylerville United Methodist Church. She was a former employee of Sulli's Market in Schuylerville. For many years, she was a baker at Schuylerville Central School Cafeteria. She also worked in the food services department at Wilton Developmental Center. She enjoyed gardening, crocheting blankets for Head Start, family and friends. She was a great jokester and story teller, and was noted as a great cook and baker. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by a brother, Ernest Coffinger Jr. Survivors include her children, Bruce Huber and his wife, Patricia, of Sale Creek, Tenn., Brian Huber and his wife, Jean, of Schuylerville, and Shelly Huber-Smith of Brattleboro, Vt.; three brothers, Richard Coffinger of Gansevoort, Thomas Coffinger of Clarks Mills, and John Coffinger of Bacon Hill; two sisters, Sandra Vaughn of Hudson Falls and Janice Garrison of Capon Bridge, W.Va.; five grandsons: David, Scott, William and Wesley Huber, and Tyler Smith; and several nieces and nephews. He was born on Oct. 9, 1930, in Putnam Station, the son of Nelson and Ellen Pearl (Lillie) Peterson. Robert was a member of the Putnam Volunteer Fire Company and a former chief of the department, a logger and construction worker and was employed by Putnam Highway Department until he retired. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by a sister, Helen Lethbridge. Robert is survived by one sister, Pearl Chadwick and her husband, Glen, of Putnam Station; one brother, John Peterson and his wife, Ann, of Ticonderoga. He is also survived by four nephews, Lewis Chadwick of Putnam Station; John Peterson of Michigan, Nelson Lethbridge of Ticonderoga, and James Lethbridge of Long Island; one niece, Susan Barber of Ticonderoga; his former wife, Leslie Paterson of Putnam Station; and his faithful dog, Copper. Born on March 17, 1916, in Carthage, N.Y., she was the daughter of the late George Nelson and Emily Elizabeth Cardinal. Helen was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, Greenwich Chapter. She enjoyed volunteering for the Salvation Army, drawing and animals. Besides her parents and a brother, she was also predeceased by her husband, Reginald Spengler in 1987. Survivors include her friends, Harry LeBarron, Michael Carota and Gail and Tom.
