The last will and testament of Mary L. Aldrich of the town of Luzerne in the
County of Warren and State of New York.

I, Mary L. Aldrich, make this my last will and testament, as follows.

First - I direct that my funeral charges, the expenses of administering my
estate, and my debts be paid out of my personal estate excepting from such
direction that portion of my personal estate called herein my wearing apparel,
which I have bequeathed to my two daughters Angeline Griffin and Helen Green;
and if said personal estate be insufficent for these purposes, I expressly
charge the payment thereof or any deficiency upon the real estate of which I
may die seized, and for that purpose or for the purpose of the distribution of
my estate among my children - the legatees herein mentioned. I authorize and
empower my son, the executor herein after mentioned, to sell at public or
private sale the whole or such part of my real estate, as may be sufficent for
these purposes.

Second: I, give, devise and bequeath unto my three children namely: Angeline
Griffin wife of Myron Griffin, now residing at Glens Falls, Warren Co., New
York, Helen Green, wife of David Green, now residing in the town of Thurman,
Warren Co., New York and Andrew J. Aldrich, now residing in the town of Stony
Creek, Warren Co., New York, all of my real and personal property of every
kind and description which I may own or whereof I may die seized, share and
share alike as tenants in common, except that portiono f my personal estate
called nerius my wearing apparel, and which portion is disposed of in the next
following provision.

Third: I give and bequeath unto my two daughters Angeline Griffin wife of
Myron Griffin, now residing at Glens Falls Warren County, New York, and Helen
Green, wife of David Green, nowing residing in the town of Thurman, Warren
Co., New York, all my wearing apparel which I may own at the time of my death,
share and share alike as tenants in common.

Lastly - I appoint my son Andrew J. Aldrich, Executor of this my last will and
testament hereby revoking al former wills by me made.

In witness whereof I have hereunto subscribed my name this ninth day of March
1883.

The foregoing instrument was at the date thereof, subscribed by the said Mary
L. Aldrich in our presence, and she at this same time, declared the same to be
her last will and testament, and requested us to sign our names as witnesses
thereto which we do in her presence and in the presence of each other.
