Raley, Surrogate In the name of God, Amen: I, Bishop L. Aldrich of Glens Falls, N.Y. being of sound mind and memory, do make, ordain, publish and declare this to be my last will and testament, that is to say: First: after all my lawful debts are paid and discharged, I give and bequeath to my wife Cora I. Aldrich, all moneys which may be deposited to my credit in any bank, or owing to me in salaries, all of my jewelry and personal effects, the furntiure and other household chattel property in my home at my decease to be hers absolutely. Second: I give to my said wife Cora I. Aldrich the use of all my real estate and the income from the balance of my personal property, not specificially bequeathed to her, during her life, to be in lieu of all dower interest in my real estate. Third: Upon the death of my said wife, I give, devise and bequeath all my property to my son Cedric Aldrich, Fourth: In case my said wife shall survive my said son Cedric, then on the death of said Cedric, I give, devise and bequeath said property to my said wife Cora I. Aldrich absolutely. Fifth: I hereby give and grant unto my Executor hereinafter named, full power and authority, to sell, either at public or private sale, in her discretion, if she shall think best for her interest or the interest of my estate, any or all my real property, and convey the same in pursuance of such sale; and the proceeds from such sale shall be invested along with the other personal property and pass with it. Likewise, I make, constitute and appoint my wife Cora I. Aldrich to be executrix of this my last will and testament, hereby revoking all former wills by me made. IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto subscribed my name and affixed my seal, the second day of November in the year one thousand nine hundred and three. Bishop L. Aldrich (L.S.) The above instrument, consisting of one sheet, was at the date thereof, subscribed by Bishop L. Aldrich in the presence of us and each of us: he at the time of making such subscription, acknowledged that he made the same, and declared the said instrument so subscribed, to be his last will and testament.
