Registry of a mortgage executed by PELEG CORNEL and JAMES CORNEL and CARAN &
SILVIA their wifes to ELIJAH CASE
Names of the Mortgagors;
PELEG CORNEL of Hebron and JAMES CORNEL of Argyle both of the county of
Washington and State of New York and CARAN and SILVEA their wives of the first
part
Name of the Mortgagee;
ELIJAH CASE of the town of Hartford in the county aforesaid of the second part
and to his heirs and assigns forever

Date of the Mortgage: Fourth day of March 1802
Description and boundaries of the messuages, lands, tenements or hereditaments
mortgaged: All that piece or parsel of land lying in the town of Hartford in a
patent granted to William Coccraft and others being part of lot number forty
six bounded as follows to witt south on the highway, east on THOMAS PEARCE
land, North on land formerly belonged to CORNEL JOHN BUCK, west on EZEKIEL
DEWEY'S land, containing 78 acres of land. And also al that piece of land
situate in the patent aforesaid being part of lot number fifty five bounded as
follows north on the highway, west on BREWERTON'S land, south of PASQUAY
AUSTIN, and JONATHAN CABEL'S land, east on NATHAN LEE'S land, containing 122
acres of land....

Mortgage monies and time or times when payable: $2500...
Record of the power to the mortgagee to sell in fee contained in the said
mortgage

But in case of non payment of the said sum of $2500 at the time limited or the
intrest thereof . .the said parties of the first part do hereby empower and
authorise the said part of the second part his heirs assigns to grant,
bargain, sell, release and convey the said premises
