9 Sept 1805 JOHN EAGLESTON JUN late of the town of Hebron, County of
Washington, State of New York, farmer sold to JOSEPH EAGLESTON of the same
town, wheelwright, for $312.50 a piece of land in the town of Hebron, part of
a pattent granted to JOHN TABOR KEMP JOHN MORRIS SCOTT Esquires and others,
part of lot No. 40, beginning in the west boundary of sd lot at the distance
often chains, and twenty three links from the south west corner thereof from
thence north eighty eight degrees east forty eight chains and eighty links to
a stake heap of stones in the east bounds of sd lot thence north five degrees
west ten chains and twenty seven links to a stake and heap of stones thence
south eighty eight degrees west forty eight chains and sixty links to a stake
and heap of stones in the west bounds of sd lot thence south three degrees and
twenty minutes east ten chains and twenty seven links to the place of
beginning, containing 50 acres of land. Signed JOHN EAGLESTON JUN. Witness
