Washington and State of New York, Wheelwright of the one part
Name of the Mortgagee;

WM. QUA, son to ROBERT QUA of the same Town, County and State aforesaid of the
other part and to his heirs and assigns forever
Date of the Mortgage: 7 Sep 1805
Description: Piece or parcel of land in town of Hebron, part of patten granted
by letters patten under the great seal of the late Colony now State of New
York to JOHN TABOR KEMP JOHN MORRIS SCOTT, esquires and others and is known in
the subdivision of said Patten by the name of Lot No. 40, Beginning on the
east bounds of said lot at the distance of twenty chains and forty six links
from the southeast corner, thence south eighty eight degrees west forty one
chains and twenty four links to a stake and heap of stones, thence north three
degrees and fifty minutes west thirteen chains and twenty three links to a
stake and heap of stones, thence north eighty eight degrees and forty one
chains and fifty three links to a stake and heap of stones on the east bounds
of sd lot, thence south five degrees east thirteen chains and twenty three
links to first mentioned corner, containing 55 acres.
