7 Sept 1805 ROBERT QUA of the town of Hebron, County of Washington, State of
New York, farmer sold to JOSEPH EAGLESTON of the same town, wheelwright, for
$687.50 a certain piece of land in the town of Hebron, part of a patten
granted to JOHN TAVOR KEMP JOHN MORRIS SCOTT, Esquires and others, Lot no. 40,
beginning from the southeast corner of sd lot twenty chains and forth six
links on the ease bounds of sd lot thence along the south eighty eight degrees
west forty one chains and seventy four links to a stake and heap of stones,
thence north three degrees and fifty minutes west thirteen chains and twenty
three links to a stake and heap of stones thence north eighty eight degrees
east forty one chains and fifty three links to a stake and stones on the east
bounds of sd lot thence south five degrees east thirteen chains and twenty
three links to the first mentioned corner containing 55 acres of land. Signed
