Andrew M. Beveridge, D. D. At Lansingburg, on January 7th, Rev. Andrew M. Beveridge, D. D., aged 68 years, born at Greenwich, Washington County, Jan. 20th, 1820. Graduate at Jefferson College, Pa., 1842, and from Princeton. Pastor at Hoosick Falls, and served there till 1858, when he accepted a call over the Prebyterian Church at Lansingburg, and there till 1883, when he resigned the charge. An able and faithful servant of the Lord at rest. He married Sarah, daughter of the Rev. Dr. Loomis, of Bennington. She servives him, and two children, Harry L. and Anna. From my notes: Andrew was the son of George and Ann (Hoy) Beveridge (the 5th child). His parents went to Illinois where they both died. The History of Somonauck United Presbyterian Church by Jennie M Patten and Andrew Graham (1928) states that he married Sarah Loomis on December 22, 1848.
