Stonington October 20th AD 1787 Also the widow [refusal] (viz)This is to certify that I don't intend to leave to my w Anna Ecleston. I Isaac Eagleton of Stonington in the County of New London & State of Connecticut, Yeoman, being infalable of my Mortality tho of a Sound mind and Memory [ blesed] be God for the same Do this 23 day of December AD 1780 make publish and ordain this my last will & testament in manner and form following that is to say last of all. Resign my soul to God that Gave it and my Body to be Decently buryed by my Executor and as Touching such Temporal things whatever God has blessed me with that I have not already given away my will is as Followeth (viz) I give unto my six sons Namely Isaac Eagleton, Asa Eagleton, Elisha Eagleton Joseph Eagleton Samuel Eagleton John Eagleton in Equal Division all my Carpentry Tools & all my Farming tools and utensils. Also all my Weaving Apparel & my Saddles. Also I give unto my three before Named sons (viz) Elisha Joseph & Samuel their Heirs & Asigns forever in Equal Division the remainder part of a Cedar Swamp (that I have not Given Hertofore to my Son Asa by Deed, that is three quarters of S. Swamp [lying] in Voluntown in the County of Windham and State afore S. it being all the land that I have not Heretofore Given away by Deed) it Being left out of their Deed by a mistake and the Reason I give my Six Before Named Sons No more is Because I have given them their Portion before. Also I give and bequeath unto my Grand Daughter Sarah Eagleton Daughter to my son Wilkenson one cow. Also I give to my Grand Daughter Martha Eagleton Daughter to my son Wilkenson one Bedstead and one Feather Bed and Furniture. Also I give to my Grand Daughter Martha Wells one [socase]of Drawers & one five quart Basin Also I give to my Grand Daughter Deliverance Wells one Pewter Tankard and one Callicoe bed quilt. Also I give to my Daughter Anna Wells all the Remainder of my Personal Estate that I shall not Herein After Otherwise [Divide] Also I give to my Beloved wife Anna my Riding mare, Side Saddle and Bridle. Also I give to my S. wife the use & Improvement of all my Personal Estate (except what I have in this my Will given to my above names sons) During her natural Life and I Do Hereby Make ordain & Appoint my Son Asa Eagleton Sole Executor to this my will in Trust for the True Performance thereof in witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand & Seal the Day and Date afore S.
