In Testimony whereof we have caused the seal of office of our said Surrogate to be hereunto affixed Witness Edward Savage Esqr Surrogate of the said county at Salem aforesaid the fifteenth day of Fabruary (sic) in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and fourteen and of our Independance the thirty-eighth (sic). E Savage Copy of the Last Will and Testament of Abraham Wright decd Recorded the 15th day of Fab'y (sic) 1814 -. In the Name of God Amen. I Abraham Wright of the Town of Kingsbury, County of Washington and State of New York Being in full health and sound in memory (blessed by God) do this day, to wit March the twenty-ninth in the Year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and ten and in the thirty fourth year of American Independance Do make and publish this my Last will and testament in manner following; that is to say, --- I give my property to my children on the following principals the first That my sons, or their heirs shall have double of my temporal interests to my daughters - 2d - that such of them as lived and worked in and for the family till of age, shall have one hundred Dollars more than the rest of them, if there be so much left above the Lawful Portion of each, my funeral Charges and paying my honest debts. 3d That the same rule shall apply to my daughters - That is to say, my son Amos, and Richard, if he shall continue in and serve the family, till of age be intitled to the above said hundred dollars each ---- That my daughters Sarah, Phebe, and Esther be intitled to said fifty dollars each, if I should leave it to be had as above; - after which my sons Ebenezer, James, and Abraham are to take Equal portions with their said two Brothers and my daughters Zerviah, and Mercy Equal portions with their said three sisters etc. 4th And I make and ordain my two sons, Ebenezer and Richard Executors of this my Will in Trust for the Intents and Purposes in this my Will contained. Alfred Willoughby Schedule Whereas my within named son Abraham did return with his earnings and take his place in the family I hereby Will that his Portion be Equal to that of his Brothers Amos and Richard in my within Will. Kingsbury Aug. ye 20th 1813 Abrm Wright Also whereas I did advance Property to my within named Son James to the amount of Ninety Dollars and fifty-two cents for which I hold his notes bearing date the 17th of Aug. 1804 my will is that said notes be against his Portion if not paid up before my death. Ebenezer Willoughby Ebenezer Willoughby Junior Washington County Ls Be it remembered that on the fifteenth day of Fabruary (sic) in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and fourteen Personally appeared before me Edward Savage Surrogate of said County - Ebenezer Willoughby and Alfred Willoughby two of the Witnesses to the preceeding Will who being due sworn on their oaths declared that they did see Abraham Wright Sign and Seal the instrument in writing of which the preceeding is a copy and heard him publish and declare the same as and for his Last Will and testament that at the time thereof he the said Abraham Wright was of sound disposing mind and memory according to the Best of the knowledge and belief of them the deponents that their names to the said will is of their own proper handwriting which they subscribed as witnesses to the said will in the testators presence and that they the deponents saw Ebenezer Willoughby Jur Subscribe his name to the said will in the testators presence as a witness thereto ---- And be it also remembered that on the same day and year personally appeared before me the said Surrogate Ebenezer Wright and Richard Wright the Executors in the said Will named and were duly severally sworn to the true execution and performance of the said Will by severally taking the oath of an executor as by Law required. E Savage And the said Ebenezer Willoughby being duly sworn further testified and declared that he did hear the said Abraham Wright deceased asknowledge that his name subscribed to the said Schedule or Codicils annexed the said will dated at Kingsbury Aug. 20th 1813 was his own proper handwriting and heard him publish and declare the same as and for part of his Last will and Testament that at the time thereof he the said Abraham Wright was of sound disposing mind and memory according to the best of his knowledge and belief and that his name subscribed to the same is of his own proper handwriting which subscribed as a witness thereto in the presence and at the request of the testator and that he the deponent saw Ebenezer Willoughby Junior subscribe his name as a witness thereto in the testators Presence.
