I Aurelia Richardson of the Town of Whitecreek in the County of Washington and the State of New York of the age of eighty five years and being sound mind and memory do make, publish and declare this my last will and testament in manner following: First I give and bequeath to the children of my sister Mary Billings as follows: To Elisha Billings the sum of four hundred dollars, to Hannah Perine the sum of four hundred dollars, to Moses Billings just the sum of four hundred dollars, to Selah Billings the sum of four hundred dollars, to Williasm Billings the sum of four hundred dollars, to Seth G. Billings the sum of four hundred dollars, to the daughter of Horrder Billings, Deceased, Susannah, Aurelia, Susan Adelia, the sum of one hundred dollars to be paid to their Lawful Guardian for their mutual benefit. Second, I give and bequeath to the children of my late sister Abigail Towns deceased as follows, To Benjamin Towns the sum of four hundred dollars, to Whitman Towns the sum of four hundred dollars, to Huldah Wheeler the sum of four hundred dollars. Third, I give and bequeath to my sister Sarah Dunton the sum of Five hundred dollars. Fourth, I give and bequeath to my Brother Seth Crocker the sum of five hundred dollars. Fifth, I give and bequeath to Aurelia Porter wife of Ralph Porter six Silver tea spoons, three Silver table spoons and one Silver Butter knife, also all my China ware consisting of one dozen tea-cups and saucers, and one tea-pot, one Sugar Bowl, one milk cup and two Cake-plates and one dozen blue-edged dining plates, also my best Looking Glass, my Cooking Stove and all my Cooking utensils, pipe and furniture thereunto belonging, one bed, bedstead and bedding, all the carpeting in my house, one half dozen of my Banister-Back chairs, all the window curtains belonging to the house, my Cherry Bureau, and round cherry stand, all the family pictures and portraits, my kitchen table and one square cherry fall leaf table, also one brass kettle and all my iron ware and all my pewter ware one half dozen of my best Parlor chairs all my milk pans and milk pails, also my Gray horse. Sixth, I give and bequeath to the American Bible Society formed in New York in the year 1816 the sume of five hindred dollars to be applied to the charitable uses and purposes of said Society according to its act of incorporation to be paid to the Teasurer of said Society, and his receipt shall be a full discharge for the same. Lastly, All the residue of my Estate after paying my just debts, funeral charges, erecting suitable Grave Stone at my grave and the lawful expenses of my Executor in settling the Estate I give and bequeath to the Board of Foreign missions of the Presbyterian Church in the United States of America, To the Trustees of the board of Missions of the General Assembly of the Prebyterian Church aforesaid, To the Trustees of the board of education of the Presbyterian Church aforesaid, and to the Trustees of the Presbyterian Board of publication or their Successors in office for the uses and purposes for which the Several Boards were established to them equally in the bequest, it being understood that one fourth part thereof is given to Foreign Missions - one fourth part to domestic Missions, - one fourth part for the education of serious indigent young men for the Gospel Ministry and one fourth part for the publication of religious Tracts and books and their distribution for charitable purposes as severally instituted by and under the direction of the General Assembly of the Presbyterian Church of the United States of America and the receipt of the Several Treasuers of the several Boards shall be full discharge for the same. And finally I do hereby appoint my relative and friend Elisha Billings my sole Executor of this my last will and testament hereby revoking all former wills by me made. In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this thirty-first day of March in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and fifty-four. Aurelia Richardson The above instrument consisting of one sheet was at the date thereof declared to us by Aurelia Richardson the testator therein mentioned to be her last will and testament and she at the same time acknowledged to us that she had signed and sealed the same and we therefore at her request and in her presence and in the presence of each other signed our names thereunto as attesting witnesses. County of Washington Surrogate Court In the matter of proving the last will and testament of Aurelia Richardson late of White Creek deceased Washington County S.S. Charles Porter Being first duly sworn in afore Court deposed and says that he & Ralph Porter were acquainted with the above named Aurelia Richardson in her life time; and that they and each of them were present, and saw her suscribe her name at the end of the instrument in writing now produced and exhibited to deponent; purporting to be the last will and testamnet of the said deceased, bearing date the thirty first day of March A.D. 1854. That the said deceased at the time of suscribing her name as aforesaid, fulfilled and declared the said instrument to be her last will and testament in the presence of the deponent & said Ralph and each of them and they at the request of said deceased, and in her presence and in the presence of each other, suscribed their names respectively thereto as witnesses to the execution thereof. That the said Ralph Porter has since departed this life. That this deponent saw him suscribe his name as a witness to said will as aforesaid and knows that his signature thereto as such witness is genuine That at the time of the execution of said Will the said Aurelia Richardson deceased was a citizen of the United States, above the age of twenty-one years, of sound disposing mind and memory and not under restraint, to the best of the knowledge, information and belief of this deponent. Fairchild Surrogate of said county hereby certify the foregoing to be a correct record of the last will and testamnt of Aurelia Richardson of White Creek in said county deceased and of the testimony taken by and before me in proving said will as a will of Real and personal estate.
