Pages 532-534 SEE WILLS OF HISFATHER TRUMAN MASON AND HIS WIFE RELEAF M. S. MASON In the name of God, Amen: I, JAMES O. MASON of GREENWICH in the County of WASHINGTON N. YORK being of sound mind, memory and understanding do hereby make, publish and declare this my Last Will and Testament as follows viz: FIRST: I authorize, order and direct my Executrix hereinafter named to pay all my just debts and funeral expenses. SECOND: I give, bequeath and devise to my WIFE MRS. RELEAF M. S. MASON all my property which I shall own at my decease both real and personal. THIRD: I hereby nominate and appoint my said WIFE MRS. RELEAF M. S. MASON the sole EXECUTRIX of this my Last Will and Testament, hereby revoking all former wills by me made. In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand this 12th day of September 1879. YORK SURROGATE'S COURT – WASHINGTON COUNTY In the matter of proving the Last Will and Testament of JAMES O. MASON deceased WASHINGTON COUNTY S.S. NORMAN VAN KIRK and JULIA H. MASON being duly sworn in open court, severally depose and say that they were acquainted with the above named JAMES O. MASON in his life time and that they and each of them were present and saw Him subscribe his name at the end of the instrument in writing now produced and exhibited to them purporting to be the Last Will and Testament of the said deceased bearing date the 12th day of September A.D. one thousand eight hundred and seventy nine. That the said deceased at the time of subscribing his name as aforesaid, published and declared the said instrument to be his Last Will and Testament in the presence of these deponents and of each of them, and these deponents at the request of the said deceased and in his presence and in the presence of each other, subscribed their names respectively thereto as witnesses to the execution thereof. That at the time of the execution thereof the said deceased was a citizen of the United States, above the age of twenty one years, of sound disposing mind and memory, and not under restraint to the best of the knowledge, information and belief of these deponents.
