Cobb, of No. 7 Washington St., Palmyra, NY died at 12:30 Wednesday PM at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Frank Mosher. He was born in Penfield, NY, July 30, 1843. He was a Civil War veteran and belonged to the GAR. He was a life long resident of Ontario and Wayne County. For fourteen years he resided on the DP Smith farm. He leaves to mourn his loss five children, Charles Cobb and Mrs. Clarence Botcher, of Arcadia; Mrs. Frank Mosher, of Palmyra; Mrs. Charles Aldrich, of Canadaigua, and Frank Cobb of Victor; one brother, Frank Cobb, druggist of Victor, and one sister, Mrs. Charles Pickett, of Sacramento, Calif.; fourteen grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. The funeral will be held at No. 7 Washington Street, Friday afternoon at three o'clock. Burial in Palmyra Cemetery.
