Newark-Union Gazette

Mrs. Mary C. Cobb, wife of Cullen R. Cobb, died at her home in Port Gibson,
Tuesday morning at 5 o'clock.  For the past year, Mrs. Cobb has been in poor
health and early this spring she went to Buffalo for medical treatment.  She
returned apparently improved in health.  But the past few weeks she was taken
ill and has gradually grown worse until her death, Tuesday.  Mrs. Cobb was 57
years old.  She is survived by her husband, C. R. Cobb, four sons, Charles and
Frank Cobb of Port Gibson, John Cobb of Rochester and William Cobb of Buffalo; 
three daughters, Mrs. Charles Aldrich of Canandaigua, Mrs. Clarence Botcher of
Arcadia, and Mrs. George Strong of Port Gibson and eleven grandchildren.  The
funeral was held Thursday morning from St. Ann's Church in Palmyra at 10
o'clock, Father Hartley officiating.
