David I. Waldorf died in Clyde, N.Y. Dec. 25, 1877, aged 81 years.  Bro. Waldorf was
converted and joined 
the Methodist Episcopal Church forty-five years ago.  Through long years of trial
and change, he adhered 
to the church of his choice, and in good old age went home to join the church
triumphant.  A large family 
mourn his loss

This obituary was attached to his wife's obituary who died only four months after
his death.  (submitted 
separately).  Note: his name was spelled incorrectly in the obituary as David I.
Waldurf (a common 
misspelling).
