I, Christopher McCormick of the town of Java County of Wyoming and the state of New York being of sound mind and memory, and considering the uncertainty of this frail and transitory life, do therefore make, ordain, publish and declare this to be my last will and testament, that is to say: First - After all my lawful debts are paid and discharged, I give and bequeath to my Son James McCormick the sum of $5.00 Five Dollars together with the three hundred Dollars that I let him have in the year 1858 and five hundred in the year 1871. Second - I give and bequeath to my Daughter Ann Kerwin the sum of two hundred Dollars. Third - I give and bequeath to my son Thomas McCormick the sum of $5.00 five dollars. Forth - I give and bequeath to Daughter Catherine McCormick the sum of $1000 one thousand dollars. Fifth - I give to my Sons Christopher McCormick and Richard McCormick and their heirs and asigns all that part or parcel of land situate in the town of Java County of Wyoming in the State of New York is distinguished by Township Number Eight in the third range of said Township and is distinguished as part of lot number thirty-six in said township and known as the farm that the said Christopher McCormick now resides containing 133 one Hundred and thirty-three acres as by deed to said Christopher McCormick. And also another piece or parcel of land situate in the Town of Java County of Wyoming and the State of New York is distinguished by Township Number Eight in the third range of said Township and is distinguished as a part of number thirty-five in said township and known as the farm that the said Christopher McCormick purchased of the heirs at law of John McGuire deceased, and containing 74 3/4 Seventy-four and three fourths acres of land together with all the hereditements and appurtenances thereunto belonging or in any wise appertaining to have and to hold the premises above described to the said Christopher and Richard McCormick their heirs and assigns forever. And to the said Christopher and Richard McCormick all of my personal property and out of the above personal property they the said Christopher and Richard shall pay two Hundred Dollars for charitable purposes. Sixth - I will and ordain that the Executors of this my last will and testament for and towards the performances of said testament shall after my decease bargain, sell and claim in fee simple all my lands for the doing executing and perfecting finishing whereof. I do by these presents give to my said executors full power and authority to grant, alien, bargain, sell, convey and asign or asure all the same lands any person or persons and their heirs forever in fee simple by all and every such lawful way and means in the law as to my said executors or to their council learned in the law shall seem fit or necessary. Likewise I make constitute and appoint Richard McCormick and Christopher McCormick to be executors of this my last Will and Testament, hereby revoking all former will be me made.
