Amen. I, RICHARD HAM of the Town of Java, Wyoming Co., NY being seventy-three years and being of sound mind and memory and considering the uncertainty of this frail and transitory life, do therefore make, ordain, publish and declare this to be my last Will and Testament, that is to say: First - After all my lawful debts are paid and discharged, I give and bequeath to my wife, ELIZA HAM, the use of my home farm where I now reside consisting of one hundred and fifty acres of land which I hold in two deeds of seventy-five acres each and recorded in Wyoming County Clerks Office for and during her natural life in lieu of dower. Second - I give and bequeath to my son, WILLIAM F. HAM, the above mentioned 150 acres of land to have and hold the same absolutely after the death of my wife, Eliza Ham. Third - I give and bequeath to my son, JOHN HAM, one hundred and twenty-five acres of land which I hold by deed on part of Lot No. 27 in the Town of Java and recorded in Wyoming Co. Clerks Office on December 31st, 1866, in Liber 55 of Deeds at page 62nd to have and hold the same absolutely. Fourth - I give and bequeath to my son, RICHARD V. HAM, one hundred and thirty-eight acres of land in the Town of Java being part of Lot 19 Town Eight, Range Third to have and hold the same absolutely. Fifth - I give and bequeath to my son, BERNARD HAM, the One Thousand Dollar note which I gave him against me and when paid shall be his legacy in my estate. Sixth - I give to my son, MICHAEL HAM, One Hundred Dollars. Seventh - I give and bequeath to my daughter, MARY O. CONNER, the sum of Five Hundred Dollars. Eighth - I give and bequeath to my daughter, ROSE CRAHAN, the sum of Three Hundred Dollars. Ninth - I give and bequeath to my daughter, ELIZABETH HAM, the sum of One Hundred Dollars. I also direct that the encumbrance on the within lands shall be paid by William F. Ham, John Ham and Richard V. Ham unless I should pay them during my lifetime. Each to pay one-third of the encumbrances and legacies unless paid by me in part or in whole in my lifetime. Likewise, I make, constitute and appoint my son, RICHARD V. HAM, to be the executor of this my last Will and Testament, hereby revoking all former wills by me made.
