Wilcox, late of Sheldon, Wyoming County, New York. Vol. 20, page 520. Witnesses Jonathan O. Spink and Lovina A. Spink both of Orangeville, NY In the name of God, Amen I, James C. Wilcox of the town of Orangeville in the County of Wyoming and State of New York being of sound mind and memory and considering the uncertainty of this frail and transitory life, do therefore make, ordain, publish and declare this to be my last Will and Testament, What is to say: First - After all my lawful debts are paid and discharged, I give and bequeath to my beloved wife Orpha Jane, all of my property, real and personal, during the term of her natural life with power to sell real estate sufficient to pay all encumberances thereon, if any there may be. Second - I give to my three daughters, namely Cordelia D. Lawrence, Emma J. Edwards and Clara Peck the sum of five hundred dollars each, payable after the death of my said wife. Third - I direct that the residue and remainder of my estate be divided into six equal shares, five of which shall be paid one to each of my beloved children excepting Thomas B. Wilcox. Fourth -I direct that the sixth share, which is the portion of my son Thomas B. Wilcox, by law be placed at interest. Said annual interest to be paid to the wife of my said son, Thomas B. Wilcox and should the said son Thomas B.die before his wife Rosabell, to so remain during her widowhood; and then said shares to be paid to their children and share alike. Likewise, I make, constitute and appoint my son-in-law David Edwards and my son J. Edward Wilcox to be executors of this my last Will and Testament; hereby revoking all former wills by me made.
