Some persons with MURDOCK surname in Hillside Cemetery, Dundee,
Yates Co., New York copied from gravestone inscriptions.  The Office
of the Yates County Historian (see
http://www.linkny.com/~history/genweb.htm) has record of 17 persons
with Murdock surname interred in this cemetery, but I didn't copy
all of them.

Newell F. Murdock b. July 24, 1792 d. Dec. 20, 1862 "Father"

Betsey E. (Peek) Murdock b. June 9, 1797 d. April 21, 1872 "Mother"

Aaron P. Murdock b. May 30, 1830 d. Feb. 8, 1855

Alton Murdock b. 1893 d. 1954

Alton L. Murdock son of Marvin T. and Caroline E. Murdock b. Sep.
30, 1855 d. Mar. 20, 1872

Bertha J. (Tower) Murdock wife of Newell F. Murdock [who d. in Yates
Co. 16 Jun 1906] b. 1869 at Jackson Co., PA d. Jan. 15, 1960 at
Monroe Co., NY

[Note: The will of Newell F. Murdock dated 10 Feb 1904, filed with
the Surrogate's Court of Yates County New York, named as his heirs:

wife, Bertha Tower Murdock, age 37, named co-executor of his estate
dau., Ethel May Murdock, age 14, living in Dundee, NY 1906 son,
Alton Tower Murdock, age 13, living in Dundee, NY 1906 dau., Mary
Caroline Murdock, age 9, living in Dundee, NY in 1906 son, Charles
Marvin, age 4, living in Dundee, NY in 1906 son, Kenneth Ralph, age
4, living in Dundee, NY in 1906.

The will also named as heir, his sister, Emma Murdock Tennant, who
was not on the list of heirs dated 1906, so she may have died prior
to her brother.  Newell F. Murdock also named as co-executor of his
estate his brother, Leon C. Murdock.]
