To the Surrogate of the County of Yates.
The Petition of Marthy B. Gilbert of the town of Romulus in the county of Seneca 
respectively showeth: That Jonathan Baley of the town of Starkey in the said 
county of Yates died in the said town of Starkey on or about the 26th day of 
November in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and seventy-five: 
That at the time of his death he was an inhabitant of the County of Yates: That 
he left no will as far as your petitioner has heard, or been able to discover: 
That he left Ann R. Baley, his widow residing in Starkey aforesaid, George W. 
Baley residing in Springwater, Livingston Co., N.Y., John Baley, Eleanor B. Mead 
and Sarah B. Baley all residing in Lenawaee Co., Michigan, and Daniel Baley 
residing at Brighton, Michigan, and Elizabeth M. Cook residing at Lockport, N.Y. 
and our petitioner, all of full age
