Y. -- from the scrapbook of Viola Emma Florance Rose --------------------------- Florance - Dillistin Miss Laura Edna Dillistin was united in marriage at 9 o'clock this morning to Ernest Florance at the home of the bride's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Elbert Dillistin a few miles south of this village. The impressive ceremony was performed by Rev. Merritt Miller, Pastor of the Dundee Baptist Church, before about fifty invited guests. The bride wore a gown of white taffeta trimmed with filet lace and pearls. and carried a bouquet of bride's roses. The bridesmaid was Miss Nina Clark, who was gowned in silk batiste and carried a cluster of white carnations. The groom was attended by Merlyn Wheeler, of Dundee. The solemn wedding march from "Lohengrin" was played by the bride's sister, Mrs. George Harris. The scene of the nuptials was artistically decorated for the happy occasion. At the conclusion of the ceremony the merry guests seated themselves to enjoy the sumptuous breakfast. Followed by the congratulations and best wishes of their assembled friends, Mr. and Mrs. Florance left on the noon train for a wedding tour to Buffalo and Niagara Falls.
