Wheeler, of this village. The bride wore white charmeuse with a tulle veil and drapery in which were fastened hyacinths and carried a bouquet of American Beauty roses and hyacinths. She was attended by her sister, Miss Belle Wilson, who wore pale green taffeta with iridescent trimmings and carried yellow roses and sweet peas. John MacFarlane, of Himrod, was best man. Meryl Wilson and Laura Fultz, brother and cousin of the bride, were flower bearers. The ceremony was performed under and arch of evergreen and pink and white carnations, the color scheme of the room decorations being green and white. Immediately following the ceremony, a wedding supper was served, the bride's table being decorated with pink and white carnations. Miss Irene Guilfoyle, of Syracuse, played the wedding music. Besides those present from this vicinity, guests came from Syracuse, Elmira, Branchport, and Hagersville, Can. Mr. and Mrs. Wheeler left on the evening train for a trip to Canada and on their return they will live with the groom's parents south of this village. The groom is a well known farmer of this town and the bride is a former student at Dundee High School. -- Unidentified newspaper clipping, probably Dundee Observer, from the scrapbook of Viola Emma Florance Rose, undated.
