EMMA JULIA BARDEEN Mrs. Emma J. Bardeen, 62, wife of William Bardeen of this village, died Sunday, September 7, 1952, at their home on Water St. She was born in the Town of Italy April 25, 1890, the daughter of Eugene and Phoebe Turtlock Webster of that town. On November 29, 1908, she married William Bardeen. She had lived here in Dundee for the past 20 years and was a member of the Yates Rebekah lodge and the W. S. C. S., Dean Ramabai class and the Dundee Methodist church. She is survived by her husband, William Bardeen; son, Morris Bardeen of Burdett; daughters, Mrs. Viola Fultz of Himrod, Mrs. Doris Hager of Brockton, Mass., and Miss Phyllis Bardeen, at home; eight grandchildren; brothers, Mitchell Webster of Penn Yan, Howard and Emerson Webster, both of Dundee; sisters, Mrs. Eva Sorensen and Miss Nellie Webster of Elmira, Mrs. Laura Clark of Travis City, Mich., Mrs. Amy Matthews of Himrod; several nieces and nephews. The funeral was held at the Hess Funeral Home Wednesday afternoon, with Rev. M. Ford Crippen officiating. Burial was in County Line cemetery, Naples. (This is presumably from the Dundee Observer.)
