Mrs. Harriet H. Dillistin
     The death of Mrs. Harriet Dillistin occurred Monday, March 8, 1954 at the home of her
daughter, Mrs. Clara Harris of Harpending avenue, Dundee.  She was born in Lawrenceburg,
Indiana, September 12, 1859, and was 94 years of age.  Her parents moved to Sydney, Ohio,, when
she was nearly a year old and she lived there until her marriage to the late Elbert Dillistin
of Dundee, RD, and has lived in Dundee and vicinity nearly all the rest of her life.  After the
death of her husband, she spent several years in Ohio and California.  She was a member of the
Dundee Baptist Church. She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Clara Harris and Mrs. Ernest
Florance of Dundee, four grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and two nephews. Funeral
service will be conducted Thursday, March 11 at 2:00 p. m., at the Sargent & Oughterson Funeral
Home with Rev. Benjamin Disbrow officiating. Burial will be in Hillside cemetery, Dundee.
