Mrs. Celinda Florance
(Dundee Correspondent)
     Mrs. Celinda (Dolly) Florance passed away Saturday, Oct. 5, 1957, at the home of her
daughter, Mrs. Merton Rose of Dundee, RD 3, after an extended illness. She was born in the Town
of Barrington, Yates county, April 13, 1872, the daughter of the late Morgan and Nancy Struble,
and was a lifelong resident of that place.  She was a member of the Dundee Baptist church. She
is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Merton Rose, with whom she made her home; a son, Ernest
Florance of Dundee; five grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, several nieces, nephews and
cousins. Funeral services were held Monday at 1:30 p. m. at the Sargent.

     Celinda (Dollie) Florence, 85, of Dundee, RD 3, Saturday, Oct. 5, 1957.  She was a member
of the Dundee Baptist church.  Survived by daughter, Mrs. Merton Rose with whom she resided;
son, Ernest of Dundee, five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.  The body is at the
Sargent and Oughterson Funeral Home where friends may call today from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p. m.
and where funeral services will be held Monday at 1:30 p. m.  The Rev. Benjamin Disbrow.
Hillside Cemetery.  Bearers will be Richard and Elton(sic) Rose, Charles Cogsdill, Albert
Green, Clifford Rockwell and Merlyn Wheller Wheeler Sr.

Mrs. Celinda (Dollie) Florance 85, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Merton Rose of
Dundee, RD 3 Saturday, Oct. 5, 1957. She was born in Barrington April 13, 1872, the
daughter of Morgan and Nancy Smith Struble and was a life time resident Barrington.  She
was a member of the Dundee Baptist Church. Survivors include her daughter, Mrs. Rose, with
whom she lived; one son, Ernest Florance of Dundee; five grandchildren; four
great-grandchildren, and several nephews, nieces and cousins. Funeral services were
conducted from the Sargent & Oughterson Funeral Home Monday afternoon with Rev. Benjamin
Disbrow officiating.  Burial was in Hillside Cemetery, Dundee.
