Florance, 70, of 47 Main St., Dundee, died Monday at his home. He was a member of the Dundee Baptist Church, Dundee, IOOF Lodge 450, and the Sportsmen's Club Inc. of Dundee. He is survived by his wife, Laura; a daughter, Mrs. Charles Cogsdill, of Rock Stream, N. Y.; a sister, Mrs. Merton C. Rose of Corning, and two grandsons. Friends may call at the Oughterson Funeral Home, Dundee, today 2-4 and 7-9 p. m. The Rev. Florance Ernest P. (Deke) Florance, 70, died at his home on Main Street March 21, 1966, after a lingering illness. Born in the town of Milo April 21, 1895, he had been a farmer and life-long resident of this community. He was a member of the Dundee Baptist Church, the Seneca Lake Sportsmen's Club and Dundee IOOF Lodge 450. Surviving are his wife, Laura; a daughter, Mrs. Charles Cogsdill, of Rock Stream; a sister, Mrs. Merton C. Rose of Corning; two grandsons; several nephews, nieces and cousins. Funeral Service are held today, Thursday, March 24 at the Oughterson Funeral Home with burial in Hillside Cemetery. Rev. Benjamin P. Disbrow is officiating.
