Mrs. Struble had arisen early to look after household affairs, finishing which she went to her husband's room, where she found him dead. The coroner was at once notified, and he said death was due to apoplexy. Deceased was born near Himrod, Yates county, in 1825. He moved to a farm near Dundee, in 1870, where he was very successful. Six years ago he moved to that village. He is survived by his widow and one daughter, Mrs. William Florence, who lives near Dundee, and by two sisters, Mrs. Helen Pettengill, of Starkey, and Mrs. Louise Matthews, of Himrod, NY. -- Penn Yan Democrat, Jun 12, 1908 ------------------------------------- Deaths. Morgan Struble The death of Morgan Struble, aged 83 years, of this village, occurred during last Friday night from heart disease. Deceased was a lifelong resident of this county, having been born in the town of Milo, and later purchased a farm in the town of Barrington where he resided until a few years ago when he purchased a house in Dundee and retire from active farm life. He is survived by a widow and one daughter, Mrs. William Florance of Barrington. The funeral was held Monday afternoon at 3 o'clock from the house Rev. D. E. Sprague officiating.
