I, John Carr, of the town of Middlesex in the County of Yates, and State of New york, of the age fifty four years and upwards, and being of sound mind and memory, do make publish and declare this my last will and testament in manner following, that is to say: First: I give and devise to my two sons George G. Carr and Edward Carr, all and singular the farm and premises on which I now reside, in said town of Middlesex, and all othe rlands owned by me at my decease, together with all the hereditaments and appurtenances thereunto belonging or in any wise appertaining; to have and to hold the premises above described to the said George G. Carr and Edward Carr their heirs and assigns forever, in manner following that is to say: the said Edward Carr is to have and take a greater interest in said lands byt two thousand dollars than the said George G. Carr. Second: I give and bequeath to my daughter Mary P. wife of Abijah Otis, the interest annually on the sum of five hundred dollars, which is to commence running six months afte rmy decease, and to be paid annually thereafter, and to be a charge upon the real estate above devised to my said two sons George Carr and Edward Carr. Lastly: I give and bequeath all my hosue hold furniture and farming utensils to my second son Edward Carr, and give and bequeath my gold watch to my said son George G. Carr, and my Library of books & and all my other personal property of whatsoever name or nature, I give and bequeath to my said two sons George G. Carr and Edward Carr equally. And I hereby appoint my said son Edward Carr sole executor of this my last will and testament, hereby revoking all former wills by me made.
