I, Isabella Robson, of the town of Benton and county of Yates considering the
uncertainty of this mortal life and being of sound mind and memory do make and
publish this my last will and testament in manner and form following. I give
and bequeath unto Isabella Lazenby and her heirs forever about fifty acres of
land bounded on the south by a line to commence at the Southwest corner of the
old Cramer farm now owned by Silas Mead and from said corner to near strait
west to Barnard Bushe's land embracing all the land I own north of said
intended line. I further give and bequeath the whole of my personal property
after paying my debts, funeral expenses and grave stones to be equally divided
between Mary L. Lazenby, James Pow Simpson, Isabella G. Simpson, Mary V.
Simpson and Margaret A. Simpson. If my husband Robert Robson survives myself
he is to have the use of all my property, and after his decease it is to go as
above described. My son James M. Pow I do hereby appoint sole executor of this
my last will and testament hereby revoking all former wills made by me in
witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal the thirtieth day of June
in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and forty nine.

Codicil

Whereas I Isabella Robson of the Town of Benton in the County of Yates and
State of New York have made my last will and testament in writing bearing date
the thirtieth day of June in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred
and foty nine in which I neglected to bequeath all of my real estate, now
therefore I do by this my writing which I hereby declare to be a codicil to my
last will and testament, and to be taken as a part thereof, order and declare
that my will is that my son James M. Pow shall be the sole owner of all my
real estate except that bequeathed in the will to Isabella Lazenby, and I also
continue the desire that my son James M. Pow shall be my sole executor, and
lastly it is my desire that this codicil be annexed to and made a part of my
last will and testament aforesaid to all interests and purposes. In witness
whereof I have hereunto set my hand, seal as and for a codicil to my last will
and testament on this eleventh day of February in the year of our Lord one
thousand eight hundred and fifty two.
