The accident occurred nine weeks ago and was given considerable space in the county press at the time. Mrs. Armstrong was recovering from a spell of sickness, and while nursing her young babe before an open fire place fainted, letting the little one fall in the fire. In attempting to rescue the child, which was burned to death, the mother came near to loosing her life in the flames at the same time, and only the timely arrival of other members of the family prevented her from being burned to a crisp. She was badly burned on the right hand, back and side, and for weeks suffered untold agony. The burns failed to heal and death relieve the mother's sufferings. Thus was her life sacrificed for the love of her offspring. She was a daughter of the late Lewis Brozee, who lived near Bentonville, and had many friends. The funeral was held at Quinn's Chapel Tuesday, after which her remains were buried in the church yard. Additional Comments: I am not related to this individual. This is all the information I have.
