Palmer, aged sixty-five years, dropped dead at the supper table at his home in Winchester township, Wednesday evening of last week. He ad been in his usual health and his sudden demise is unaccounted for. Deceased was a soldier of the Civil War, having served honorably as a member of Co. L Pick O. M. 1. For many years he has conducted a blacksmith shop at his country home where he lived comfortably and happily with his wife and a family of five children, who are left to mourn his sudden and unexpected demise. The funeral services were conducted at his late home last Friday at eleven o'clock by Rev. Montgomery, of the Presbyterian church, under the suspices of Bally Post G.A.R., of winchester, his remains being laid to rest in Calvery cemetery.
