From the West Union, Ohio, Adams County, “People’s Defender” newspaper,  11 January 1906, Page 5, Col. 1.

"LOCAL PARAGRAPHS
             The infant child of Mr. and Mrs. Marshall Pence, of Dunkinsville, 
died last Sunday morning and was buried Monday at Wheat.  The deceased child 
was the second of a pair of twins born to that couple about a month ago, the 
first having died about three weeks ago."
