                   JAMES ARTHUR 'OTT' SHOEMAKER.
          James Arthur 'Ott" Shoemaker, 91, of Washington C.H. died Wednesday, 
Jan. 16, 2002 at St. Catherine's Care Center.
          Mr. Shoemaker was born April 10, 1910 in Adams County to Charley B. 
and Verna Mae Miller Shoemaker.  He was an Army veteran of World War II.
          He was preceded in death by his parents, Charley B. and Verna Mae 
Miller Shoemaker; sisters, Hazel Shoemaker, Edna Mowen and Leathe Lee 
Shoemaker; and two brothers, Ralph and Edward Shoemaker.
          The funeral service will be held at the Littleton Funeral Home in 
Sabina on Sunday, Jan. 19, 2002 at 2 p.m.  Calling hours will be Sunday at 
noon until time of service.
          Burial will be in the Milledgeville Plymouth Cemetery.
