DENNIS SWAYNE.  1934-2001.
     Dennis Swayne, 66, of Locust Grove, died Wednesday, Jan. 24, 2001 at his 
residence.
     He was born in Peebles on May 12, 1934, the son of the late WILLIAM 
SWAYNE and ONA (FREEZE) SWAYNE.
     He is survived by his wife, SHIRLEY (SWISSHELM) SWAYNE, whom he married 
on Dec. 12, 1953.
     Funeral Services will be held at 2 p.m. Jan. 28, 2001 at the Union Hill 
Church with Phil Fulton officiating.  Burial will follow in the Locust Grove 
Cemetery.
     Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Saturday at the Wallace-Thompson 
Funeral Home in Peebles.
