            Emmit J. Mortt of Ashland, Ky., and Miss Bessie McCormick, 
daughter of Mr. & Mrs. W.T. McCormick, of Rome, were united in marriage last 
evening at the home of the bride, the ceremony being performed by a Portsmouth 
minister.
