Apparently the party was after they had left. "Dear Charlie and family Hope you are at the end of your long journed when this letter arrives. We had a very nice time on Charlie Reynolds night. I am sending a lodge paper with names of members present with there [sic] own signature. Clarence Breese gave a nice talk telling of the many years spent together both in the Spanish American War and the K of P lodge. (Grandpa served in that war) The boys had a real good time. Don Jenkins also gave a nice talk and of corse [sic] little me had to get his little speach [sic] in. All in all we had a real nice time. Charlie when you gave the 6 sanitors part that tied us togather from that time on. Even tho we are living far apart our friend ship will always remain close. I hope you and family made the trip good. when you ge rested up and have time drop a line. With Love to all in F. C. & B H. C. McMullen" I have no idea what the "6 sanitors" means. Mom (83 yrs) is up near Portland visiting my youngest sister, and when I talk to her, will ask. There is also a "Knights of Pythias Fifty-Year Life Membership Certificate" with a gold seal signed by C.F. Buettner (Chancellor Commander) and H.C. McMullen, (secretary) stating that "...Charles Reynolds received the Rank of Page in Lima Lodge No. 91 located at Lima Domain of Ohio on the 19th day of October 1904; that he has been for fifty years a member in good standing.....Witness the Seal of this Lodge and the signature of the Chancellor Commander, attested by the Secretary, this 8th day of december 1954." If anyone wants it copied completely, I'll be glad to do it. I also have a 4 page list of members and their addresses. I'll copy that out tomorrow and send it along. Hope the names will be helpful to someone. ==== Maggie_Ohio Mailing List ====
