It was written Joseph and Julia Richardson in Lima, Ohio and sent to his half brother -Lawrence Veale in Chicago, Illinois. (Perhaps someone can use the informatiion.) It reads as follow; Lima, Ohio March 29th, 1931 Brother, Sister and Family I will answer your letter we got sometime ago this leaves us well and hope you folks are the same I rote to Charles again again but have not heard from him yet Uncle Harvey Miller is very bad we were to seee him last Friday he did not know us and does not eat anything when we seen him I did not think he could live this long we did not hear from him today you can expect tohear of him being dead most anytime he just rolled his eye back in his Head It is colder here and has been trying to snow for the last two days Julia is making a rug of yarn it will look real look when she gets it done I owe Thursy a letter for sometime I will have to write to her soon it seems that I cant write anymore Ethel were well last time that we saw them I will close for this time from your Bro X Sister Joseph X Julia Richardson 735 w Spring St Lima, Ohio UNCLE HARVEY MILLER 1856-1931 HARVEY MILLER was married prior to his marriage to SARAH BAKER. His first wife was named MARY L. , who was born January 1, 1887. There was a son by thie marriage whose name was OSCAR MILLER. MARY L. died December 9,1902. The son of this marriage was electrocuted while working on the inter urban lines on November 8, 1907. HARVEY and SARAH (BAKER) MILLER lived on East Silver St in Wapakonet and he worked for the Haman Churn Factory in Wapakonet. They were members of the Methodist Church. No children by this marriage. They are buried in the Green Lawn Cemetery in Wapakonet. (SARAH BAKER was the daughter of GEORGE and MALINDA (MOYER) BAKER -- the grandaughter of BENJAMIN and SAVILLA (POE) BAKER and SAM and Catherine (DE LONG) MOYER. She was born March 3, 1875 in Auglaize County, Ohio and died July 16, 1960.) ( HARVEY MILLER was the son of SILAS and CYNTHIA (HEMPLEMAN) MILLER-- the grandson of GEORGE and RUTH ( HOWELL) HEMPLEMAN and JACOB MILLER. He was May 2, 1856 in Allen County, Ohio and died in 1931.
