Lima Argus, May 1, 1849
OBITUARY
Died in this town on the morning of the 28th ult., John Basehore, aged 53 
years.  Mr. Basehore was one of the oldest residents of Lima, and had ? 
throughout his long residence here, the character of an upright, indu?tious 
man.  He leaves an extensive circle of acquaintances to regret his death.
