"JOSEPH BENNETT DEAD

	Dies at his Home in Perry Township Last Night

Joseph Bennett, a prominent and aged farmer of Allen county, died at his home 
in Perry township about three miles southeast of this city, at 11 o’clock last 
night.

The deceased was 63 years of age.  He was born in Franklin county, O., and 
came to this county many years ago.  He suffered for the past six months from 
cancer of the stomach and during his illness lived for some time at the home 
of his daughter, Mrs. Louis Fall, in this city.

The funeral services will be conducted from the residence in Perry township at 
9:30 o’clock Saturday morning.  The services will be conducted by Rev. Hill 
and Rev. Kline, and the remains will be interred at Woodlawn cemetery."
