Miss HELEN OLIVIA BRICE, aged 76 years, daughter of the late Ohio Senator 
CALVIN S. BRICE, died January 19th at her home, 960 Fifth avenue, New York, 
after a long illness.  She was a summer resident of Newport for thirty years.  

Miss Brice is survived by a sister-in-law, Mrs. PALMYRE M. BRICE of New York, 
widow of JOHN FRANCIS BRICE, and three nieces, Mrs. MONICA HOBBS (WILLIAM), 
Mrs. JEAN B. ALLEN (J. F.) and Mrs. KATE BRIGGS.  Her brothers were the late 
JOHN FRANCIS BRICE, W. KIRKPATRICK BRICE and STEWART M. BRICE.  Miss MARGARET 
KATHERINE “KATE” BRICE was a sister.



Additional Comments:
NOTE:  Helen Olivia Brice was born in Lima, Ohio in November 1872 and resided 
there until her father moved the family to New York City in 1882.
