Lima Times Democrat, January 26, 1895
DANIEL MICHAEL, aged eighty-one years, and one of the pioneer residents of 
Allen county, died at his home, one-half mile east of West Cairo, about 3 
o’clock yesterday morning.  Mr. MICHAEL’s death was caused from old age.  He 
was quite well known throughout the county, and was a respected farmer.  He 
leaves a wife and twelve children.  The funeral services will be held from the 
Christian church at Cairo at ten o’clock to-morrow morning.
