NAAS Mrs. Vernice Viola (Petree) Naas, 76, of 146 W.Lane, died shortly after being admitted to St. Rita's Hospital at 9 a.m. Monday. Born July 31,1891, in Beaverdam, she was a daughter of George and Allie Wingate Troxel. Her husband, John died in 1965. Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Richard (Dorothy) Finn of 204 W. McKibben; a son Joseph P. Petree, of 146 W. Lane; four stepsons, Charles Naas (Lima) and Wilson Naas, Phillip Naas and Lloyd Naas, (all of Elida); a stepdaughter, Mrs. Arville Conrad (Columbus Grove); six grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren. Services will be 2 P.M. Thursday in Cantwell-Sweet Mortuary, Rev. Fara Laman officiating. Bueial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.
