Betty Jeanne Pierson, 63, of Lima, died Sunday at Lima Memorial Hospital.
She was born April 9, 1925 in Akron, the daughter of William and M. Gertrude 
Humphreys Brundige. Her mother survives in Tavares, Fla.
Mrs. Pierson was the executive director of the West Central Ohio Chapter of 
the March of Dimes for 16 years. For 10 years, she taught kindergarten in her 
home on North Dixie Highway. She was a member of Bluelick United Methodist 
Church and was a graduate of Westerville High School.
Survivors include a son Dr. Dennis James Pierson of Lima; three daughters, 
Mrs. Ronald (Sandra Kay) Petsch of Cincinnati, Mrs. Terry (Deborah Sue) 
Badertscher of Findlay and Mrs. Richard (Sheryl Lynne) Crawford of Bowling 
Green; seven grandchildren; and a brother Thomas P. Brundige of Columbus.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Siferd Westwood Chapel, Rev. William 
Hesse officiating. Entombment will be in Memorial Park Mausoleum.
Friends may call 2 to 4 and 6:30 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to the March of Dimes.
