Georgia E. Palte, 68, of Bluffton, died at 3:30 p.m. Tuesday at Lima Memorial 
Hospital.
She was born Dec 24, 1922 in Frankfort, Ind., the daughter of Cleo Clifford 
and Velma Randell Hedge. She married George G. Pugsley, who died in June 1971.
She then married John Palte, who died in 1977.
Mrs. Palte retired in 1981 as a nurses aide at Richland Manor Nursing Home. 
She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, Bluffton, where she was a pre-
school program teacher, communion distributor and worked in the church food 
assistance program. She was a member of the Eagles Lodge 370 and Moose Lodge 
199.
Survivors include one son, Dan G. Pugsley of Elida; one daughter, Mrs. Larry 
(Patricia) King of Orlando, Fla.; five grandchildren; 10 g-grandchildren; two 
brothers, Robert Hedge of Kokomo, Ind., and Garth Lee Hedge of Circleville, 
Ind.; and two sisters, Nancy Strange and Phyllis Green, both of Speedway, Ind. 
Another sister, Betty Smart, died on Aug 1.
Services will be at 11 a.m. at St. Mary's Catholic Church. Rev. Gary Ferguson 
officiating. Burial will be in Shawnee Cemetery.
Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. today and 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at 
Chiles and Sons Laman West Wayne Street Chapel, Lima, where a wake service 
will be held at 8 p.m. Thursday. and one hour prior to services Friday at the 
church.
Memorial contributions may be made to the church.
