Mrs Dora Phalen 43,of 908 
Fairview,died at 3:30 p.m.
Mon Jan 9,1961 in St Rita's
hospital after a long illness.
Born in Piqua Apr 3,1917 to
David and Dora (Bainter) Alliey,
she had lived most of her life in
Lima.She is survived by her husband
Eugene V; two sons Richard Shaw of
Columbus;and David Shaw of Chicago
one step-daughter,Mrs Norma Harness 
of Columbus; one step-son, Larry Phalen
with US Navy in Ca; two brothers John Alliey
of 1717 Leland Ave,David Alliey of Arizona;
three sisters, her twin Mrs Hazel Gossard of
908 Fairview ave, Mrs Emmaline Fanaff of
1010 Logan St, Mrs Florence Rockey of
Lancaster and seven grandchildren.She was 
a member of St John's Catholic church.
Funeral arrangements are incomplete at
Cantwell-Sweet Mortuary.
